  1. Bloody hell Ryan, I have just seen this. I hope you are OK old fruit
  2. That cannot be correct surely. If you notify in writing that you wish to cancel and specifically instruct them not to take money you must therefore overrule any previous agreement.
  3. I would be very surprised if Jezzybabes did not have this.
  4. Hello hello hello...is there an echo in here
  5. Yep - exactly right. Jake, if you inform the CC specifically stopping any payment to them then they will put a warning flag up for when they try to charge it.
  6. No, they said they were going to send a MAC code. Jake, why cant you just stop the CC payment (as opposed to stopping the DD). If you write and email to them informing them that you do not wish them to take any further payments, then they will have to refund you should they continue to do so. I would also contact your CC company and tell them that you are not going to authorise any further payments to them. The funny thing is, I had the reverse problem when switching from BT to Talk talk. BT gladly gave me the MAC code but they are only valid for 30 days and the numpys at TalkTalk kept on letting it run out!

    PC help please

I think I can see the problem now. I had a large email sent to my Gmail account that contained a load of car pics that probably amounted to 4mb. The Gmail account has a forward on setting to send any mail that comes in there to my Outlook account (TalkTalk). I have now deleted the large mail from my Gmail inbox but I think it is still hanging about on the Talk talk server. Is there anyway i can stop that coming through?

    PC help please

I use Outlook (not express) as my mail in box and also have NOD32 working as my anti virus etc. Now, for some reason, whenever my send or receive button is pressed on Outlook it goes to 50% then stops. It also starts a download of 4.5mb (this shows from NOD32) that goes as far as 1398kb then stops. Is there anything I can do? It is stopping all other mail coming in. BTW, I am unsure as to what the big file is as I currently get the majority of my mail through Gmail servers and then send that on to my TalkTalk account. The Gamil account does not show any big file waiting to be sent across.

I have to admit to being guilty of this too (multi posts that is) but not to get the post count up. I do it as I sometimes forget to look in the new members section and then play catch up.

    ADSL speeds

Following on from JamieP's post showing the link to the speed test site, I originally got this result I was told that the line was being upgraded to a 2meg system and now get this result. Does this look about right? How come the download figure has gone up but the upload figure has remained the same? Can i do anything to my PC or hardware to make things better?
  15. It was withdrawn from sale by the current owner - sorry.
  16. I don't have any more pics at the moment but can get them if anyone is seriously interested about buying. As you can tell from that statement, I haven't bought it as I cannot afford to have my money tied up for that long.
  17. Correction: Tried to send PM but your in box is full.
  18. I am determined to do something this year - my health is going downhill fast
  19. I have had a bloody cold all week and haven't been able to train at all so have remained the same Sod the cold though, I am going into the gym tomorrow morning to do some RPM.
