There is a rear spoiler for sale on the mr2 forum from a seller based at Kilmarnock who will only do collection only. I would need a big favour off someone to collect the spoiler (I would pay him beforehand) and then pack it up for a courier to collect. A big ask I know but as they say, of you don't ask, you don't get

You make it sound as if selling his current car is easy. In this climate that is not the case.

As some others have said, this is a bad, bad idea. IMHO, there are so many things that can go wrong it really is not worth the risk

The problem you are going to have is that unless someone has had a rear end bump (and they are unusual) then nobody else is going to want them. That won't be anything to do with price just need.

I agree but in this case surely a FSH has to be seen as minimising the risk?

Surely every second hand car purchase is the same?

I'm going to go against the others ehere and say that at £4500 (you will easily chip them down to that) and a FSH (providing that checks out), it is well worth a look. The rust on the tailgate? Most of the older models now have this and it would not unduly worry me. High miles for sure but I have seen low mileage cars with no history end up being dogs. I would defininitely go see it and preferably with someone who knows what they are looking for.
