Thank you for the reply. It would seem there are a plethora of 17"s and 18"s out there but, as you say, not too much in the way of 16"s available. I would also need quite wide rears and/or the use of spacers as I am going to be fitting arch extensions and would need to bring the wheels out to fit them.

A bump up for more advice. This time on wheels and tyres. My NA has the standard 15" OEM rims and drives quite well but now with the turbo engine and other upgrades giving mje a lot more HP I was wondering what peoples thoughts were on wheel and tyre sizes? Would 17" be a good compromise between looks and handling? If so, what sort of width rears and fronts would you recommend? And finally, what tyre makes and sizes would you go for?
