  1. It is indeed Ed along with the charity raffle thread too: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?264302-Kill-a-Veilside-and-help-Macmillan-cancer-care! http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?265421-Charity-Raffle-Ticket-Announcement
  2. Somebody mentioned you were game for most things
  3. I am thinking of opening up next Sundays auction for the Ipad to everyone on the forum(s). The way I see it working is thus: Bids will be sent to me via PM. These bids will be a binding commitment to buy and the highest bid sent to me prior to the cut off time of 14.00 on Saturday 24th will be accepted. On the day, the people at the meet will be told that there are prior bids (much the same as at an auction) but not told how much that bid is. They can then bid on the ipad2 and if their bid is better than the PM bid then they win. If it is not and the PM bid is the highest then they win. I will have a list with me of the PM's that bid and can show that to an independent so that no one can accuse us of skulduggery. So, if I did this, would anyone be interested in bidding?
  4. It really does look like an impressive bit of kit.
  5. Why? He said plants were alive. He never said anything about veg
  6. Mmm...I love sprouts. I had curried sprouts once - bloody lovely they were too
  7. We could have a mini meet before the major meet.
  8. If any of you chaps and chapeses are close to the Travelodge at Gatwick airport on the Saturday night then pop in and say hello as me and my son Josh will be staying over readying ourselves for the next day. We are staying at this one

  10. Would you care to show me where I said you should not post? In fact, I said the exact opposite in that you should not be telling others not to post.
  11. You lot have to come down to "Fortress Millennium" next year - that should be interesting
  12. No, I don't. When I was building my cars in the past I had to take lots of negative comments too but not once did I throw my toys out of the pram and ask for no more negatives. Then you should realise that it is going to happen again and I stand by my comment that if you post on a public forum then you have to accept the negative with the positives.
  13. I am no use to you with this but It might be worth a post up in the ICE section my friend.
  14. And telling people not to post up unless it is nice comments isnt? See, that's the thing. You could easily have stopped at the part highlighted in bold. Who are you to decide when someone's opinion is necessary or not? Any thread like this is going to divide opinion. Telling people not to make negative comments is, IMO, silly and alienates members far more than my earlier observation.
  15. I seem to recall reading that this was not a good way of warming an engine up and could damage it. If I remember correctly (I think it was CW) they advised starting and moving it straight away.
  16. ps - this is a forum and, as such, people are entitled to give their opinions. If you can't accept negative comments, don't post.
  17. Haven't we been through all this in an earlier thread?
  18. Who told you that? They have a very good reputation on here.
  19. For BPU the stock ecu will be fine.
  20. Tough sport eh? Some very hard men on that pitch.
  21. I've still not had anyone claim the last £20 paid into the just giving raffle site
  22. They did indeed. I cannot remember the last time an international pack had that much of a bashing.
