  1. And here's mine http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=159391
  2. I'm sadly putting my Black J-Spec '94 6 Speed up for sale. I've owned it for 5 years and have been the only UK owner since it was imported by Mackay Trading back in September 2003. I was hoping to never sell it, but since moving close to Glasgow city centre I just don't drive it enough now to justify keeping it. It's an M reg (1994), mileage is around 69,000 miles and it's taxed till February. MOT is up in September, but I'll put another year on if you like. Most of the work has been carried out by Marc at The Garage in Wishaw, who has also carried out regular services etc... Standard features: Bigger Uk sized brakes Toyota Bilstein shocks Electric mirrors and windows Electric drivers seat Upgraded sound system OEM sideskirts/spats Climate control/air con Front fog lights Added extras: RLTC fitted with Terminator's dat file £3000 spent replacing all the suspension arm assemblies and tie rod ends etc to bring the suspension back in line with how it was when it was built. See here for full list: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?p=463823#post463823 RSR Exhaust with double decat. I have the baffle in just now, but the car sounds great either with it in or not. I've still got the original exhaust and cats as well Boost Gauge from Chris Wilson fitted into the dash where the clock used to be RPS Sport Street clutch TRL Fuel Cut Defender Ab-Flug Type II Bumper Work Equip 18" split rims (could do with refurb) Goodyear F1 tires 1.2 bar radiator cap Walbro fuel pump Denso IK 24 plugs New power steering pump Toad Ai 606 cat 1 alarm/imobiliser which gives remote central locking Underseal carried out when I bought the car Facelift rear lights Replaced front lights since they were looking a bit cloudy. They're now nice and shiny like they should be. Clear side indicators Some dynamat style sound proofing fitted Shiny Supra Door Sills It's also had new brake discs and pads fitted and all oils, fluids and battery replaced. The car was on the rolling road at Dastek and had 396.5 BHP and 374.3 ft.lb torque at 1.2 bar. The car has been running at 0.8 bar for a while, due to a boost leak in the vacumm hoses somewhere. I haven't fixed that cos to be honest I don't drive fast enough to need the extra power. 1.2 bar was easily achieved and restricted with a restrictor ring fitted to the decat. Both turbos are working great as is the 6 speed gearbox etc. Overall the car is in really good condition and has been very well looked after, being serviced at the correct intervals. I'm sure Marc at The Garage could answer any questions about the car. I have lots of receipts to back up the work stated. There is a tiny dent near the petrol cap where a trolley rolled into it and the alloys could do with a refurb, as stated above. Any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me, car is located in the West End of Glasgow. I'm looking for £8000
  3. I've no idea... Is there any way to check the sensors and idle control valve?
  4. I've noticed recently that whilst sitting at lights the revs jump up to 1500 for a few seconds, then back down to idle. It happens even when the air con is off. Any ideas what could be causing it?
  5. I've got an iTrip and it's useless for the car. Its practically impossible to get zero interference when you're driving around.
  6. Are there any devices out there which would let me play movies or mp3s which are on my upstairs computer, downstairs on my tv? Something using wireless would be perfect. It would basically just be something which can access a wireless network I guess... Is there anything like that around yet?
  7. Velcro is probably a safer bet. The clip doesn't really work very well.
  8. Try placing some little bits of card between the boot rubbers. If it stops then you know it's the rubbers.
  9. For the past year I've had Valvoline VR1 Racing SAE 5w-50 in the car. I had to be ultra smooth with the accelerator on a cold start, or else the car would be extremely jerky. Anything other than 100% smooth would mean I'd be getting thrown forwards and backwards a bit. I always thought this was a bit shit so was looking forward to seeing if the oil Oilman recomended would be any better... I got the Silkolene Pro S 10w-50 put in last week and boy what a difference!! It now drives great, even from cold starts. Now I don't have to drive like a granny for the first few minutes! Obviously I'm still letting the car heat up first before putting the foot down, but I'm no longer being thrown around in the car Nice one Oilman!
  10. I have 2meg with Zen. I think it's around £30 and I've never had a problem with it for the year I've had it. You also get a free 56k connection, just as a backup. But I've never had to use it.
  11. I fitted the spare wheel today, to see if a different wheel would eliminate a clunking noise I'm getting from the rear (it didn't). Anyway, when re-fitting the alloy I noticed that I can move the wheel clockwise an inch when it's in the air. That's with the handbrake on ofcourse. So... is this normal, or is it a problem?
  12. Wouldn't the doors lock after 10 seconds? So you need to unlock them to get in?
  13. Is it a Greddy pipe by chance? I think E1 or something rings a bell... If it is then it's not the correct pipe, but can be matched up with a 45 degree elbow silicone piece.
  14. I removed my flare because it was out of date and people kept kicking it off when getting in or out of the car.
  15. Leaving them overnight in Coke is supposed to clean them right up.
  16. My girlfriend found that out when she formatted her laptop. She wasn't best pleased! As a side note, I really really hate iTunes! Nothing is simple in the stupid program.
  17. I was insured with them for 2 years under their classic car policy. Good company
  18. If I were to do it again I'd go with a nice simple lip added to the stock bumper.
  19. I'm in the same position Suprasteve. I've also got the yellow bilsteins and have problems with wheel hop. The only way to avoid it is to pull away more carefully/slowly. That's not much fun though! I've got Eagle F1's and have tried various tire pressures. I've also replaced all the control arms, bushes, and rear shocks, but that didn't help much. I dunno if it's related, but I also have a clunk coming from the drivers side rear wheel. I thought replacing all the control arms would sort it out, but it's still there. I keep thinking that's got something to do with the grip/suspension. Also, when I'm on the motorway you can hear a wind type noise coming from the same wheel. Kinda like blowing on a bottle top to create a wind noise. I've had the wheel bearings checked and it's not them. I'm also interested in any quick fixes
