24, 21 when got it

Already checked the pipes, got a HKS FMIC and have been getting up to 1.25 Bar before Fuel Cut. Nothing has blown off yet. Restricted the boost to 1.2 bar now with the restrictor ring. I will have a closer look tomorrow. Is it most likely to be a pipe or are there other possiblities?

Its only a guess but does anybody think it could be my exhaust gas control valve? If so can i fix it or get a new one?

First off, i took the first cat off yesterday (no cats at all now) and cant believe the difference it makes. I did boost up really well and smooth. Took it out today for a thrash, all was fine until i came to another biot of straaight road. Put my foot down, pulled reallt well up to about 4K, then no second turbo boost. I think the max reading on my gauge now is 0.3 Bar. Had a quick scan over the pipes but could'nt see anything a miss. Had a look through the previous post but my boost seems too low for a pipe problem. There were no loud bangs etc, it has just decided to stop boosting. Any ideas anyone?

I have just had a look under my car with a veiw to fitting my first cat pipe but it appears to have a sensor in it. The decat pipe i was going to fit does not have a place for this sensor. Is this right? Can i just tuck it out of the way or will it mess anything up?

This is all good stuff, are there many people on here that would stick with twins? If so why do they choose to? Can you get such big power from twins. Oh yeah did i see at some point an american TRIPLE turbo at some point. Was that just a gimic thing as i cant see that being very usable.

I am looking into upgrading my standard twin setup. I know i can get big power from a BIG single but want to stick with the twins. What i am after is some options that i can go for. All i know at the moment is that i could have hybrids or more expensive HKS's. Anybody fancy putting some known options down with maybe how much work, power and cost down here? It may be good for a future reference thread for twins. It might help the newcomers a bit too.

Anybody fancy helping me? I am trying to put an MPEG onto a DVD to play on my player. Problem is it ends up being too big of a file for the DVD (4.5GB). I have tried encoding it (makes the file smaller) but still too big for the DVD. It is doing my head in. I am new to all this DVD stuff so any info would be appreciated.

Does it matter how much it holds, is there a limit? Or is it a case of what fits will do?

oh right, it might not matter how big it is then. I will see if i can source another smaller one to fit either next to the batt or above the intercooler.

HI all, I have had to re-locate my radiator bottle to under my drivers side light because of the FMIC i have fitted. My question is has anybody used another smaller bottle to put above the FMIC so that you can get at it(more or less stock position), is this possible or am i barking up the wrong tree?

Thanks for the reply mate, If it does fall out for any reason is it possible to get behind to sort it. Just trying to prepare myself because in my experience there is always something that goes wrong.

Does anybody know how easy it is to remove the door catch on the B pillar? I have a new one as my old interior light button had broken. Is it just the two big screws to take out (unless they are nut and bolts). If they are nut and bolts how do you get behind the pillar to tighten the nuts (remove interior trim?)? Any help or ideas would be apreciated.

Hi all I am having a Toad Ai606 alarm fitted next week and wanted to know if there is a way to set it up so that i can still use the turbo timer. I want to be able to lock the car while the T Timer rums down, if possible. It may be that the chap who is fitting it knows how but just want to be prepared if he aint got a clue. Any info would be gratefully recieved

I need help from everyone with a Sard R2D2 BOV, How have you set the alan bolt on the top of it? Have you got it screwed right in or out etc?

I knew i had seen them somewhere... There was an RX7 with them fitted in Sept 04 Banzai mag. Looked a really tidy bit of kit with loads of adjustment. Says they perform SIMILAR to coilovers. Is this true or just to make it sound good for the mag?

I know what most of you think about airbag suspension but i am just interested. Has anybody actually fitted them to a Soop? If so how good or bad are they? Where were they fitted, how much and any problems with them? Any info at all from anybody really! Dont worry i cant afford them just interested.

i had the condensation problem with one of mine too, i put it back in the oven until it had all evapourated and had no more problems since.
