Thanks for repying, Finally got it started today. Used the second key fob so it seems the first is buggered. Bloody strange as it was fine six hours earlier. At least it aint serious.

I started and drove my car to work today fine with no problems. Parked it up but when i came back to it 6 hours later it wont start. When i turn the key (not having armed the alarm in the first place) i have to press my alarm button to get the imobiliser to switch off, then turn the key again and it starts. But today it didn't switch the imobiliser off and i can't start it at all. Nothing happens at all. I have checked the ignition fuse, disconnected and re connected the battery to reset it, and the battery is fine. WHAT NEXT? it is a Scorpion alarm which i presume is connected to the factory imobiliser but as it was already on the car when i bought it i dont know. ANY HELP OR IDEAS FROM ANYONE WOULD BE APRECIATED

to be honest it looks a lot better in person. The lenses on the clusters are alot clearer than they look on the picture. Also i took this pic in the day, half pulled into my garage so should look better at night. Has anyone else attempted this?

Yeah i thought that too. Think it would be a bit more difficult to make it look neat with UK lights though due to the Jspec not having a chrome ring on the full beam. Tried to make it look neat and tidy in the day too. Cheers for the comment on the bonnet. Got to get it adjusted though as the drivers side latch does not click down.

I have had a go at putting an angel eye conversion on my soop. Not sure if i am going to go with it at the moment hense that is why i only took a picture with one on to compared the old and new. The internals of the cluster are a different colour to the car (the colour the car will be when my kit arrives) which does make it look different anyway. I thought it was worth a go as i have never seen it attempted on a soop. If anyone has any opinions let me know so i can make my mind up.

yeah that sounds better than screws anyway. The screws i used tended to come loose because i have quite a harsh ride in my soop.

I have a twin gauge holder that goes from the dash to just behind the drivers head above the window. Tried fixing it with screws but it looked ugly so i used Silicone Sealant to fix it up. Been up about six months now and had no problems at all.

As regards to the Wheelmania Miami's, i do not know the offset. I bought them off ebay and when i asked Wheelmania about them they denied even making them in 19". Not the most helpfull bunch of chaps there.

anyone know if 19" Wheelmania Miami's fit over UK brakes? Looking to upgrade my J-Spec brakes

dont want to hijack your thread but just wondering if it ok to splice say a coolant temp guage in to the correct wire on the ecu or will this confuse anything? I know it does if you try to splice it in to the sensor.

Hi all I am in the process of a clear rear indicator lense conversion and am wondering where to get the orange bulbs from? Shall i just paint my clear bulbs or can anyone recommend some coloured ones?

where abouts have you fitted the sensors?

As far as i am aware the housing and fitting is different, i am not 100%, but that is what i have heard. I would make sure before you splash the cash.

I might be interested in the pins. It may be because the bonnet may be twisted slightly, does anyone know if it is possible to 'straighten' it out slightly or if it will settle itself? I will try and get some pics tommorow to show the problem better

The bonnet is fully shut, made sure i pushed it down properly. I have twisted the rubbers down and they are not even touching the bonnet anymore. I think the problem with the bonnet pins is that they won't hold the side near the wing down, they will hold the front down more than the side. Being carbon fibre will it sort itseld under heat or is there no hope?

I have just fitted my new carbon fibre bonnet but the drivers side, just above the air filter, tends to stick up about half an inch away from the wing. The passenger side fits lovely but if you look from the divers side it looks like the bonnet is on the safety catch. If i put my hand on the bonnet above the air filter and push down very slightly it all lines up, but then springs back up when i move my hand. Has anyone got any advice or tips to make it fit better? Also while i am here my standard Jap bonnet is now up for sale and will be going on ebay tommorow, Storm blue with a few stone chips on it. Includes washer jets but no safety catch.

yeah that is what i thought. i had that problem a while back that when i booted it, it read something like 1200bhp but it has been fine since i changed my plugs (dont know if that is what cured it).

Right, my car has blitz nur spec with cat replacement pipe,hks plugs,blitz induction kit,blitz bov and re-built (not uprated as far asi know) turbo's. I was reading 358bhp on my powermeter the other week which i was happy with. Then one night,as you do, i decided to put my foot down. The traction control came on slightly for a second and when i slowed it was reading 378bhp. I was very pleased at this point but it gets better. Yesterday i did the same, bit more wheel spin and tail slide and when i looked at the meter it read 412bhp. Does anybody know if that would be anywhere near accurate or is it telling me porkies? What sort of power should i expect with these mods? i dont think i has anymore mods, i have had it for two years and have seen evidence that someone had modified it before it was imported but think it had been put back near standard.

Hi all Just a quick question about having a full respray(probably a bodykit fitted too). Does anyone have a rough price guide for this job as i am going to go round some of the local bodyshops, want to know what to expect and don't want to get ripped off. Not sure what kit yet but will probably be nose cone, side skirts, rear spats and spoiler. Bonnet is carbon fire and dont want that spraying.

I bought my import with 65k miles on the clock. I noticed i was doing more miles to work so took the dash off, as you do. I then found out that my ODO had not been converted to miles, just a bit of black tape over the KM light. Quite happy with that as now my car has only done the equivelent of 45k or so.

How much for the Sard BOV, is it reliable? I have a Blitz and been told that it is leaking by the blokes that fixed my turbo's

Does the rear bumper of the Skipper kit look similar to any other kits? The side skirts look similar to the TRD ones from that pic

that looks great, have you got anymore pics of the rest of the kit, side skirts and rear bumper? Is that bonnet carbon fibre? nice, is that skipper too? if so how much?
