1. Hi, I'm looking for the 04/96+ 4-channel ABS components: Actuator: 44510-14100 ECU: 89541-14070 Sensor 8944120050 Thanks!
2. I have one. Would be happy to take a 89541-14070 ABS ECU in exchange.
3. Hi, I'm looking for an ABS ECU in good condition, P/N must be 89541-14070, as used in the late models from 04/96 on. Cheers, Stephan
4. There's a marking in front of the BMC (G82 / G87). A smaller dia BMC needs more travel to move the same amount of fluid, therefore the pedal travel would increase as well and probably feel a bit softer. I never had the chance to do a 1 to 1 comparison on any car though.
5. Hi, I have the large G87 brake master cylinder and would like to give it a refresh. Does anybody know which p/n is the right one for the overhaul kit? There are basically four to choose from: 0449314160 CYLINDER KIT, BRAKE MASTER 04493 JZA80 1 05.1995 - 05.1996 0449330241 CYLINDER KIT, BRAKE MASTER 04493 JZA80 FR;235/45,RR;255/40 1 03.1998 - ... 0449330240 CYLINDER KIT, BRAKE MASTER 04493 JZA80..RZS,SZ,SZR FR;235/45,RR;255/40 1 05.1996 - 03.1998 0449314160 CYLINDER KIT, BRAKE MASTER 04493 JZA80..RZS,SZ,SZR 1 05.1996 - ... Does anybody have a clue which one has the large 26.99 mm diameter? Cheers
6. But same rod bearing issues.
7. Just wanted to drop this picture here Been messing around with my friend's S85 while restoring my Supra.
8. Since you have already opened the diff, check the gear lash (pinion to crown wheel).
9. The LSD is for sure no stock, as you can clearly see it's a clutch type rather than a Torsen. As the LSD housing ist cast iron I'd assume it's TRD, but that is only my assumption without ever having seen an actual TRD. Regarding the ratio: just count both the pinion and crown wheel teeth, then you have your ratio.
10. Looking for the outer driver side air vent in mint condition Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk
11. Here you go. Ratios for the F8x M3/M4 are much better. I actually have the box waiting here for Paul to complete the adaption work
12. I believe the Jag (F-Type) has the 8HP70 but you're right, it's probably stronger than the one in the new Supra, which is supposedly an 8HP50. Interesting project. I talked to the guys from ZF Race Engineering about such a conversion a while back. Since the transmission is used in motorsports applications I assumed there would be some sort of aftermarket version. But that's not the case. It's all based on OEM ECUs so you have to reverse-engineer the CAN bus communication.
13. What's the donor car of that specific 8HP? Any more infos on the swap available? yup
14. I might have one of these tow hooks somewhere in my stash. PM me if you're still looking for one.
15. I believe I have a set which is less rusted for 40 GBP plus postage. I believe you still have my cell, so just drop me a line and I'll send some pics later today. What's everybody doing for the front bushes of the rear subframe? These are discontinued and I only found solid ones or inserts for the stock ones so far. (sorry for hijacking you thread)
16. Another one in the queue here... I'm fully rebuilding my Supra and going for DCT.
17. Anybody else selling a set? A friend is also looking for those wheels.
18. I have one but I am located in Germany - collection only.
19. Keep in mind that you have to consider your idle ignition angle from your ignition map when using the timing light. E.g. if your ignition timing is 7° at idle your crank mark will show 7° before TDC.
