  1. I have a product to recommend if we do get water shortages and you want to clean your car. It's called Quick and Easy Wash (commonly known as QEW) from ProtectAll. It's great stuff. I've started using it occasionally on my daily washes because it cleans a little deeper than my usual quick detail. Leaves a nice shine as well.

    My supe

Very nice mate. Needs some wax on there to turn it from pink to red though.
  3. Yup. I've already got those. £15 a wheel at local trusted tyre place to move existing tyres onto new wheels.
  4. £450 plus £30 delivery .........
  5. Just confirmed with Ibrar that these wheels don't require any spacers.
  6. I'm certainly interested. (In fact I'm hoping that my insurance company are going to be nice people and buy them for me. )
  7. I've no idea of offset. Ibrar has stated that these will clear UK-spec brakes and he certainly hasn't mentioned that any sort of spacers would be required. (I am going to check with him though)
  8. Has anyone got an opinion on these wheels? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=56645 I'm thinking of getting them. Are they any good?
  9. I'm guessing from the total lack of responses that these wheels are not exactly a common fitment.
  10. Anyone know anything about Canonica Racing alloys? Where can I get them from? Has anyone else got them? Are they any good?
  11. Also..... Am I right in thinking that UK 17s will fit jap-spec hubs? Are there any differences in studs, or mountings in any way between UK and Jap spec cars? I have a j-spec car with UK brakes on the front and j-spec on the back.
  12. Cheers for that. I did a search and only came up with one set. What did you search for?
  13. I think on balance, mainly because I havn't got thousands to spend and I want the car to handle properly it makes sense to source a decent set of stock UK 17s and get them refurbed. Thanks for your advice everyone.
  14. I need some new alloys, I've currently got 18s but if I following Chris Wilsons advice then I'll be needing 17s. And they need to clear my UK front brakes..... ...but I'm pretty boggled by the choice. Looking at Ibrar's website there are hundreds of different options and I've got no real idea what I'm looking at. So my question is ..... can anyone recommend anything?
  15. No problems. I just thought that someone had seen through to my total lack of technical knowledge!
  16. Also... check the error codes on the ECU just in case there are any of those.
  17. Not putting an HT lead on would effectively turn off a cylinder and make the car run very very lumpy. It certainly shouldn't cause the problem you are having. You might want to try disconnecting the battery for a while. That might help. Could be that your alarm system has immobilized the engine for some reason.
  18. JAE is going to be fab this year. Really looking forward to it.
  19. I really should be saving up some cash because I'm in dire need of some UK 17s. (I've got one warped wheel and one flatspotted one. This is not a good thing)
  20. I hear what you're saying. Only once has it happened to me. I have a small oil leak and since that event I carry plenty of oil with in the car just in case. You'd best talk to the wife about me dipping my stick. It's not up to me!!!
  21. How bad is it to have the yellow warning light come on. i.e. how low in the oil when it does?
