  1. They have several US layout Model Ms available but no UK one's. I emailed them last week. Thorin is totally correct though, pictures of Model Ms can be found here:
  2. Thanks for looking. Really appreciate your help.
  3. I'd spend all that money on having that work done to my car just so that I could enjoy the beer, currys and vodka.
  4. The guy who runs that site is totally obsessive about Model Ms.
  5. I was very disappointed a couple of years ago when I took delivery of a Quadra 660AV and it came with a cruddy non-Apple generic keyboard. I'm still on the lookout for a decent keyboard for that as well. I think the right interface is so important. As a programmer I type fast all day long and cheapy keyboards are just not good enough. I never use a mouse either, I have used trackballs for over 10 years now.
  6. I'm not a collector. To be honest with you I've used an old iMac keyboard at work for years but it's started to go wrong so I'm trying to find a replacement. I don't like modern keyboards much and have been looking around for something a bit different. The IBM Model M has a great reputation but I don't want to get one off eBay because I'll have no idea what the condition will be like. And it also needs to be a UK spec keyboard which pretty much rules out getting it from the US. They can go for good money if they are in really good nick, the label on the back is readable and (possibly) if still boxed. But to be honest I'm not looking for a collectors item, I'm looking for something I can use every day to write thousands of lines of code. Let me know if you have one. (It has to be the clicky one though)
  7. Does anyone have an old IBM Model M keyboard that they want rid of? It's the old clicky keyboard which IBM shipped for years with their PCs.
  8. My car reads in mph but the dial goes all the way up to 320mph. I have a little "mph" sticker over the bit on the dial where it used to say "kph". I have a Thor delimiter fitted which I want to keep. I'm sure it'll just be a wiring issue to get the speedo reading the right thing. It'll look into it. The light dimmer doesn't affect the brightness of the dials. (It does affect the odometer though). It wouldn't surprise me that the wrong resistors had been fitted though (any ideas what the right one's should be?). The previous owner was a total billy-the-bodger. (Scotchloks, mains wiring, wires twisted together and taped ... oh the list goes on ...) Regardless of all this, I still want my name down for a set of these dials which best suit my car.

  10. That's looking pretty close to my perfect Supra...
  11. Which picture is that? My current dials are very very dim, I don't think much light is getting through the current standard dials. Also, I'm going to need to convert my dials from (a rather unrealistic) 320mph to 180mph. Any ideas how to do this?
  12. Thanks for adding me to the list. I am right in assuming this arn't I? Oh, having read back through the thread I noticed the above. In that case: 18. Flynn --Blue background/red rev limit (auto) -- blue led conversion fitted to car already
  13. If you've still got any left I'll take: 18. Flynn --Blue background/red rev limit (auto) Am I right in thinking that these will work ok with a blue lighting kit fitted?
  14. Only just spotted this. I'm pretty sure that morning I had the baffle in the exhaust. I'm usually pretty kind to my neighbours. I've managed to keep the car utterly clean all winter long. That's got to be some kind of record.
  15. I've sorted out a set now. Thanks guys.
  16. Thanks for the info Nic. I'd love to get a new set but funds are tight at the moment.
  17. How many miles have the springs got on them?
  18. I need a set of low-mileage, good condition OEM springs and shocks for a 94 J-Spec TT. Can anyone help?
  19. I tried that a long time ago. I was accused of making "irritating phone calls" which he had to tolerate. So no, I don't want to pick the phone up.
  20. This is exactly the sort of charming behaviour I've come to expect. A few receipts..... try all my service history. I bought the car in April 2005, was promised service history by August 2005, and it never showed up. And watch who you're calling a tosser please. I wasn't offensive to you and I don't see why you have to be to me. There are good reasons why I only post on the other forum and they're none of your business.
  21. Is it time for me to wade in and say how much I thought I was p!ssed around by Wolf when I bought my car off of him? Still no service history. Still waiting. Still going to be awkward to sell when the time comes. Caveat Emptor!
  22. I knew that I'd seen a purple Supra with a Veilside spoiler going into Tesco on my way down there. At least I wasn't seeing things. "Hi" to the black Supra who flashed me in Lexden. Good to see you guys again. (Daughter feeling a little better now) Got home just as the rain hit, and quickly dried the car off and polished the windows. Just got to clean the wheels and exhaust and she's back to perfect again. (Well as perfect as she gets at the moment) Well done for organising Steve. Any meet in and around Colchester and I'll do my level best to get there. Hope your Mum's ok mate.
  23. Sorry I couldn't stay long today. My 2 year old had to be taken to the doctors this morning and I couldn't leave her in the car for long. Front bumper looks good Steve.
