Hi i have been having trouble with my tick over as stated before. yesterday i had a look at the throttle position sensor, and the screws where loose so i tightened them and the revs seemed to have steadied after a short run, no time for a long run. this was obviously left loose during the service i had done. would this cause the problem. And do i need to have anything done to check that the TPS is in the right place.

Thanks it is intermittent, in gear it sits at about 8000rpm and then it will drop a bit ?7000 rpm and then it will rise to about 10000 rpm and so on, and if you pull away a bit quick there is a flat spot and then it's off you go. I am no mechanic so am fishing around in the dark. Yes the plugs were all changed so i will have a look to see if i can see if any vac pipes are off. Many thanks for all advice.

Ps will the stock tt box fit stock NA. (i think i may have asked you before).

Hi i have had my NA auto serviced (everything done) but the tick over just will not settle, one minute it sits right and another time it drops lower. the only thing i have changed is i took off the second cat, and changed the ECU still (standard). any ideas. Thanks.
