  1. Might pick some of this stuff up, I'm looking at detailing my engine bay at some point. Also, what's best for metal pipe work? ie - bodies, manifolds, elbows.
  2. Ever get anything from them?
  3. Well I did the HFH on the MR2 once
  4. I wondered if any of these MK4s were off here... That's a fine example!
  5. Thanks a lot! I was looking on that page but nothing stood out to me for some reason. Wonder how much fun it will be to change?
  6. Not sure what to make of this claim...
  7. The hose in question is located behind the inlet manifold under the EGR VSV. It's attached to a metal pipe then comes up and bends (towards the front of the car) under the VSV/inlet manifold. I tried to take more photos but I can't really get in there. It did have foam around it and I'm pretty sure it's a coolant hose.
  8. Not gonna lie it looks nice, I love red supra...and retract mirrors!! But damn, prices are insane. These ones used to be dirt cheap...
  9. I'm sure you've seen this one, away to end: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Supra-mk4-tt6-project-rare-not-concourse-not-show-car-barn-find-low-miles/154389254918?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 With ebay bids you can't rely on true commitment or not having artificial price inflation...certainly isn't a collector's piece but interesting to see what it goes for. Been MIA for years but coming back, prices definitely goin' up.
  10. but sometime really wants that shell... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Supra-MK4-rolling-shell-1995/164786950315?_trkparms=aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131231084308%26meid%3D25350c8386c64589a1128f54461e0b37%26pid%3D100010%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D154389254918%26itm%3D164786950315%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2047675%26algv%3DDefaultOrganicWithAblationExplorer&_trksid=p2047675.c100010.m2109
  11. HA! Still remember when you could get a UK TT Auto for like 10K or less, not too long ago.
  12. I can't remember how high it sits but I think it's more than I'd like... The car sits a lot but I do use a slab to keep it from rolling back and I never yank the handbrake, only enough to engage but here it doesn't do much anymore anyway. Also are the NO2 and 3 cables interchangeable?
  13. Thanks rider, I really want to cover up the openings on my one and I really like the way your one looks in that photo, looks like a EU Spec! Congrats OP, love the quicksilver.
  14. Usually I like to take stuff apart, find the problem, look up part numbers etc but I don't have space to work on the car anymore and when I do it's really limited space/time. IIRC a few years ago I replaced the front pistons/seals on the fronts as they were really corroded and binding up but I didn't have too much issues with the rears. Now the handbrake is just not holing and the car will roll back on any small incline. I see it uses shoes also. I just want a heads up as to what to expect as I can't even take the wheel off to have a look. Is it wroth just buying a full set of shoes and cables now?
  15. Aside from the cross bar (and side markers?) on the facelift bumper, are there any other differences with the pre-facelift bumper? And will the old amber indicators sit correctly?
  16. Anyone got one of these? It had foam around it too... I'll try to look out a part number.
  17. Yeah some are more fortunate when it comes to garages and doors lol Folding mirrors were first offered in 1994 on J-Specs and it gets muddy weather they were offered else where and if heaters were also included with them. It seems you could get folding and heated mirrors but it's super rare. I'm just gonna combine the two. It really is a shame this wasn't an option on such a luxury model but washers were...smh
  18. I love the white one! What's that grill?
  19. Well it's better to have them and not need them, than to need them and not have them! i.e. being knocked off. Nah, my goal is to swap out the washers for folding mirrors, something a little more useful...lets just say it's a secret option we never got on the UK specs! I guess they weren't aware of how tiny garages are here. Anyone know why they were even put on this spec?
  20. Yeah this would be the desired option not that any of them are perfect, finding parts for this car is just a pita. The only reason I'd consider filling and respraying is my bumper could do with a respray anyway, the holes could always be opened up later and it would still be as it was. Meh, I'll see.
  21. Yeah, want them gone tbh but still keep em just in case. I see grams is doing all the OEM bumpers and skirts now just wary of the quality/fitment of 3rd party 'OEM fit' stuff. I did have a spare bumper a while ago but it needed so much work to rectify it that I sold it thinking I'd get a better one...still looking.
  22. I hate the lamp washers on my UK Spec, they look stupid, they don't work and they are a nice thing for someone to kick in the night. I also want to remove the old switch, I'd rather install a more useful switch in there... I'm considering if I should: 1. Remove them and blank the holes, not sure what with. It would look off and the paint is cracked around the washers. 2. Remove them and fill in the holes and respray it...can always be opened up again in the future for dat UK Spec look. 3. Just get another J Spec front bumper...but they are almost impossible to find...and I'll have a whole bumper doing nothing then, which is kinda wasteful. But the end goal is to make it look like a EU Spec I guess.
  23. So if you have a Pink and Orange wire coming out of your mirror to the 5 pin plug, does that mean it's a Folding mirror? There's physically no way to tells what's what... And still, there's threads saying you can ONLY have 1 function but there are 9 pin plug out there with alleged 7 wires..which should have both?
  24. Damn, this would have been perfect but I'm not on FB. Thanks anyway.
  25. Looking for a set of Power/Folding Mirrors (switch, loom, relay? would be nice, if at all possible). Prepared to pay a little extra, within reason of course. Thanks
