  1. Mark & I did weigh the eagles....about a 1/3rd lighter than stock. I really noticed a big difference in how quickly the engine spins up. John
  2. The eagle rods in mine have been ok for the last 2 years. (even at the odd 1.8 bar moment) I know they're in Mike B's car as well, depends how much you want to spend Dean
  3. King buyer can have some real nasties, but they also have some gems, but most are gone quickly
  4. Hi Warren, you've been quiet lately:D if your current clutch is slipping now get it changed quickly or else you'll bugger the flywheel & need a new one. As Paul said, change the release bearing AND check the bearing carrier for play on the input shaft. At my last clutch change, the carrier was worn enough to make engagement difficult John
  5. I have the pioneer 50 inch, fantastic picture, (especially with HD) sound is not bad either, can't fault it at all. John
  6. I have the RPS street max considering I do approx. 300 miles a week ( mainly in town/ traffic) it's lasted very well.
  7. Mike, I hit 1.5 bar frequently with no issues:eyebrows: raise the boost Miss Daisy:D
  8. A puck clutch can be very 'grabby'. ( been there, Done that ) The RPS street max would probably suit you better. My street max has lasted for 12K miles so far & I do a LOT of 'town' driving. Don't get a lightned flywheel, they rattle horribly. keep to stock John
  9. My Ibanez RG550 with a maple neck is brilliant to play, Action & size is just about perfect for me. Some of the lower end Ibanez range are very good for the price too
  10. sorry, but I think your installer s making excuses auto closure will work if the alarm can send the signal. The auto start probably needs more cranking time adding to the start signal. your guy obviously doesn't know supras very well P.m. Matt Harwood & ask him nicely , he'll probably be able to tell you which wires you need to use for the auto closure John
  11. No worries, I drive my car every day, & not like Miss Daisy:) what's the point otherwise
  12. new undertrays are available from Toyota, about £180
  13. 'dont hear that much on here' I don't post up much,........am even less inclined to with the attitude on the board lately, more digs & snide comments than constructive or informative:( Which is why I originally joined. Must be an age thing I guess
  14. 'After all your garage appears to be empty' I know....it's because i'm allways out driving mine:D If you need pictures, there are plenty on here that can be found.

  17. I have the c1 model, it's not bad at all. I've searched all over for one, but even contacts in Japan have never heard of a C2 model John
  18. Charlton Keep it. there's not many of us 'FULL' C2's around:d john
  19. Not sure where, I just phoned & they collected them John
  20. found it, see this thread http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=67109
  21. I've remembered where I had mine done. Watling engineers, park street, st Albans http://www.tow-bars.co.uk Hope this helps John
  22. Try Diamond styling, they're not cheap but probably the best. based in orpington 01732779100 I had my 3 piece veilsides done, excellent job
  23. I had one fitted to my old uk car at a specialist tow bar place in park street near st Albans, but can't remeber the name as it was years ago. It was detatchable & you could barely see the mounting point. John
  24. I'm using the 8 eix's,(v I had misfires with 7's), cold starts ok & no misfires. My set up is similar to yours. edit, they can be a bit fluffy untill the sensor to the knock link fully warms up
