I'm a complete dick when it comes to car electrics...two days ago took the plastic trim off and fitted a new headunit, after putting it all back together my indicators and hazards stopped working...first I checked if I plugged everything in and was all fine.
Then I checked fuses, a thread on here showed that a 7.5 amp fuse in the drivers footwell was for the indicators, pulled and checked each 7.5 and all seemed good, put them back in and I'm positive everything was put back in it's original slot, but now the car doesn't start...there is lights on the dash etc but you turn the key and there is no ignition and the lights of the clock / heater controls turn off until key is released...no click nothing, battery deffo has life in it have checked that.
Would one of those 7.5 amp fuses cause this?
