  14. big supes i agree with you i am a vinyl wrapper my self have been doing it for 8 years the best way to wrap a car is minimal heat the less heat the better everyone thinks you heat stretch stick and cut well no thats wrong thats where shrinking happens and your car all shrinks back when youve paid and its in the sun - any one can make a car look good wrapped for a day the way to do it is make it look as good as it leaves the unit 4 years later manufactures paint - A quality branded product ie avery 3m hexis arlon will not damage the paint period !! if its had a respray then i always tell the customers there is a chance it may lift the paint which it can as its not manufactures paint and they sign a waver so they know and the installer is covered i have wrapped and removed the wrap from cars which have had paint work and yes sometimes the laqure has lifted as well as paint but this doesn't happen all the time if correct brand is used , however if Chinese super sticky crap wrap is used on a car thats had paint work then it would more than likely take the paint clean off guaranteed now the clear wrap self healing i use the suntek self heal and the xpel awsome stuff same again as above on the painting issue (suntek and xpel is made for paint protection) and iv never had an issue 2k for a supra bumper is basically them pulling down your pants and spanking you !! i know there is no pre cut panels but ... with the suntek you can use it as a wrap so a supra bumper can be done i did a Nissan GTR front bumper with lip pre cut and fitted for £300 drive in drive out full Nissan gtr front end including mirrors, wings, bonnet roof strip £1000 drive in drive out This stuff will not damage manufacture paint also unless car has had paintwork and it self heals really good ! unlike hexis and 3m there paint protection is pretty shit in my opinion they just want there fingers in all the pies and should just stick to the color changes and print material i use suntek and xpel as all they do is tint and paint protection and concentrate on making there product better constantly
  15. Sheefa that car of yours is nice to wrap £1500 any colour apart from chrome and brushed 3 year warranty on fitting fully stripped, cleaned , wrapped , re fitted
  16. Kmpf is not a cast material so will want to go back to its original form so will fail pretty sooner rather than later Hexis has kind of gone down hill latley they have a few issues with there glue 3m is good Avery supreme is Awsome Arlon is good As long as them 3 good brands are used and installed correctly with out stretching your be fine , if you do stretch make sure you shrink the material before laying it down otherwise when the suns out on the car it will just pull back and shrink Me and my friend own Sussex wrap studio I have wrapped around 5 supras now and have wrapped mine around 4 times My personal supra had paint work on the front bumper and rear quater so when I last removed my wrap yes it did pull abit of paint off so I rubbed it down before re wrapping If your paint is manufactures and have not had any paint work it will be fine unless a cheap crap material is used If you have had paint work done on your vehicle then yes there is always the chance of pulling it of but like I said it took the 4th de wrap on mine to do so Front bumpers can not be done in one peice as the recess to the sides are to much of a stretch and it will fail if done in one peice so you will have to have an inlay some colours your notice it others you won't if it's a hard top your have 2 neat seems running down the roof so the middle of the roof will be one large seperate peice and the rear quarters will over lap using cutting tape NO knife cutting or you will cut the paint Sorry if my sentences or words don't make sense I am currently wrapping and just kind of fast typing this out with one hand If you would like to know any more then pm me I will be re wrapping my car gun metal grey soon so shall record it on the go pro and upload it Many thanks Mike
  17. haha i did notice that !!
