  1. It is doable but insurance is the worst part, I inherited mine from my mum (NA) and been insured since 18 on our multicar policy. Main thing is to respect the power as it can catch you out being rwd and a new driver (found out on a few occasions lol) If your anywhere near me mines back on the road November and I'll might even have a spare seat for the supra meet at bluewater and can see some of the lovely ones that go
  2. As title states Close to Essex as possible Thanks in advance Could also be interested in a full leather set condition and price depending
  3. Any updates on this? just finished reading all of the original and this build thread and interested to see how it is now lol
  4. check the heatshield on/above the mid pipe, only thing that comes to mind but I'm no expert
  5. I had a Celica ST202 GT as a first car and that was great, really didn't want to sell it but the GT4 made it worthwhile. Don't think it'll be insurable practically though and parts are not cheap and mpg is rubbish
  6. Another vote for a MX-5, mate has just picked one up for a steal off a old lady and is thoroughly enjoying it, personally love the mk1 shape but my mates mk2 has a factory LSD and a few other goodies. He paid around the 1K mark although his has a rust bubble on his arch but could get something like that fixed well within your budget. As said though a lot are rust buckets
  7. Where did you find them? I need some for mine lol could you provide a link please ?
  8. Especially considering it's a UK spec I'd always be inclined to keep it the stock colour for investment reasons. Iv just had my Celica painted and decided to keep to the OEM red after seeing another one that had been done. Josh's car is testament to how good an OEM colour can look imo But then again it's your car so you've got to do what will make you happiest with it
  9. My mate text me when he drove past the crash and thought the worse when I recognised the car from here, glad its not too serious
  10. Hi, Yeah you need to be a full member to pm people, best money you can spend really for the knowledge on here
  11. From what I have read on here there is normally a separate map set up specifically for pops and bangs
  12. That's great cheers would love to make it down but can't see it happening, if this one goes well and another Is done I'll do my best to make it down
  13. Been called into work so I'm out [emoji17] I miss all the supra meets
  14. Would be interested in this if i'm not working LIL 5357
  15. Also interested to see how the new show turns out, I'm trying to view it as something new entirely as there is grand tour coming out which should be reminiscent of the original top gear. For lighter viewing there's always mighty car mods and car sos along with the others listed
  16. No idea about the raspy noise but Have you checked the heat shield is on the exhaust properly for the rattling ? Mine appears to be loose and does exactly that when I stop at lights or start the car up cold
  17. The club Iv boxed with before and manage a website for do white collar boxing, can be great fun and some brilliant matches. Good sense of community at some places too
  18. Thank you for getting a picture with my car and the trophy and the rest of the pictures in general
  19. Anyone know who's white supra is on the track at the moment? Zooming past everyone haha
  20. Nothing on some of the cars going but just finished polishing her up after finishing work, now a couple hour nap before leaving at 4
  21. Detailing is a hobby of mine but have a friend who's dad has a business with this and am basically echoing everyone else, it's a good idea for shows ect but even on a normal car let along something like yours I wouldn't ever consider it, if dirt has to be removed with a cloth then it will scratch the surface.
  22. Just tried it and yep mines dead too, 404 message most mean it's a issue on their site
