  1. I'm after a clutch and flywheel set up for a TT with a v160. What clutch? The cars BPU, I would ideally like a slight upgrade from oem. As I do plan to do a few track days etc. What flywheel? I'd ideally prefer single mass. What's out there for lightened and balenced? Can't spend too much as I'm part way through an expensive engine rebuild. Thanks Jonny
  2. Hopefully I have a job up north on the cards, so I will be attending more meets when the cars back together

  4. Hi guys. Do any of the northeast dealers do owners club discount? If so which are the best to go to? I've got a stack of parts to order for my engine rebuild. Cheers Jonny
  5. Alright guys, in need of some help, im rebuilding my spare set of stock j spec turbos, ive stripped them down and i need to replace the internals, now......... i cant find any identifying numbers on the turbos? i need to know the models etc so i can buy the full replacement unit, this part: thanks Jonny
  6. well not great news, after converting to TTC it doesnt really run any different, still no boost increase, so it looks like im going to have to start stripping the turbo side and hopefully find a split hose or something......
  7. Thanks for the heads up. I guessed it would be. I just hope it's dry tonight so I can give it a good test drive
  8. Well I made sure all clamps where tight etc. it's going TTC tonight. See if it boosts after that!
  9. Can do mate. Will message you on Facebook.
  10. Hi Guys, after getting my car back after having the valve stems replaced and turbos changed the second turbo isnt working, so anyway. when on boost the first turbo pulls to 0.7bar then as soon as the second turbo should kick in it looses boost. The boost drops to around 0.5 the slowly falls the higher in the revs it goes. its probably a problem with the wrong hose on the wrong place or something similar, could anyone shed some light please? ive been studying the sequential system problems as much as possible, its asif the EGCV isnt opening. the car boosted fine before the turbos where changed, only reason they were changed was due to the oil seals leaking, so all the actuators functioned properly before. Thanks Jonny
  11. spoke too soon about the weather, but i will still have a look
  12. weather doesnt seem too bad, i will be heading down, marc if you want a ride through give me a text
  13. I will be in the supra. Even though it's not running right. I will have to pick people's brains!
  14. it was full of 1.2 corsas on stilts but i still had a good time, even if the car was burning alot of oil from the turbo seals!
  15. Hi guys. I have a exedy triple plate clutch. The clutch engages fine and doesn't slip. But it's not disengaging correctly. Making the car a dog to drive, also making gear changes hard. I've read somewhere when upgrading the clutch you have to adjust the master cylinder push rod or adjust the pedal. Could someone shine some light on this? Thanks Jonny
  16. I will check the shaft play at the weekend. Regardless it still pulls like a train. It just chucks out a cloud of smoke when I change gear. I will have to pop over and see how your beast is!
  17. I was planning on giving Jurgen a call next week. Priority is clutch, turbo and timing belt really. Valve stems can wait.
  18. Hi guys. I'm needing some work done on my supra. And there's lots to do. Just wondering if anyone knows of a decent place with good rates around the northeast. The car is a facelift TT6 Work that I want/need done: Fault investigation on the clutch. It's a triple plate carbon job and its not disengaging properly when changing gear. Making it feel clunky and hard to change gears. (I'm guessing its gonna be the salve cylinder or hydraulic line.) Fault investigation on the second turbo. Smokes quite bad after coming off the second. Doesn't on the first. Abit of oil in the intercooler pipe work so I assume its the turbos. Timing belt. Valve stems, head gasket etc whilst the heads off. I've spoken to a garage already and I've been quoted 27 hours book time for just the head rebuild and timing belt. So £1100 labour. Any help is appreciated. Cheers Jonny.
  19. ok mate, i will drop you a text if all goes to plan
