  1. Hi mate, how much are you asking for the intake? And may be an odd question, but you say it comes with MAF, I have a 1993 NA auto J-spec, and on reading manuals etc, they all state my model doesn't have the MAF, has a VAF... so I'm a little confused. When I bought my car, it came with a big a$$ cheap cone, and I don't think it does my car any good soaking up hot air which is why I'm looking for a stock box. Many thanks Shaun
  2. Evening all. I was hoping someone could tell me the above please for an NA auto. Thanks muchly Shaun
  3. Just wondering, when I broke down, there where odd times it fired up and died the same second. Would anyone think my clifford could be immobilising my ignition?
  4. regardless of the fault code 12... So, mate popped over, hooked battery back up, loosened dizzy to be able to adjust it. Started first go, stopped it a couple of times to make sure would start each time. It did. I went a mile up the road, fine, turned around to come back... Snuffed it. Every time I tried to start it, started for a full second and snuffed it again. Pulled fuel pump out while left stuck in the sticks, fuel pump works. Took lead off my brand new coil, earthed it... Meager spark few and far between... Needless to say, not started since
  5. Soooo.... Have a new update....
  6. Already changed whole distributor dave, but still not able to start the car and error 12 still showing
  7. One sec mate I'll pop one up
  8. Anyone stripping an NA engine that may be willing to part with their camshaft sensors? Many thanks Shaun
  9. Thanks scooter, I'll try get a tester on the plug next then. if that comes up as ok, it's going to be ecu replacement then
  10. Misread, yeah I checked loom, seemed fine
  11. When fitted, I marked up where the rotor arm was before swapping if that's what you mean David?
  12. Ahh my bad, that was a Google for the ge.. Didn't notice the gte part at the top :-\ I will wait and see what scooter comes up with
  13. Thanks pal, I just went out again to start the car, it's just turning but not starting again now. I did read there was no crankshaft sensor under the block so that also confused me. These are what I've found on the ge, but this says there is a crankshaft sensor
  14. Cheers Steve. Just checked for a fault code and 12 is still there
  15. So, received my distributor, changed that, ignition coil, changed that. Car started, drove fine for a mile, turned around, pulled up at home, problem started again, struggling to start, struggling to reach 2k Revs. engine light wile driving was intermittent. So I'm guessing it's still going to be the crankshaft sensor. Can someone let me know the correct part number for this please as I've had at least 3 different ones. I also read GM use the same one using a different part number. Many thanks
  16. Ah bloody ell lol, cheers dave, got one last night. Fingers crossed it's a good one. If this doesn't solve it, it'll be another few weeks and then I'll try get a sensor. And cheers scooter
  17. Are these whole distributors? I'm presuming that's what DaveP meant as he said about it having a sensor on it
  18. You mean whole distributor dave?
  19. Hi people's, looking for a distributor if anyone has one lying around for an import NA Cheers
  20. Wow, I didn't know that. I thought it was under the water pump
  21. Ok, so I'm told the part number I need for the sensor is 90919-05023 then also told 90919-05006 then 90019-05007, It's an import NA, anyone know which I actually need? Many thanks
  22. So, not gone and bought the crankshaft sensor yet. Car is starting and idling fine now. This is how it runs:
