  2. yea i will definitely mention it to the body shop and make sure they check out for chassis damage. also here are some pictures of the damage to mine: i will try and get some pictures up of his as it is a right state... tbh i wanted to put it into the body anyway as it needs to few bits doing to make it perfect. im aiming to stay basically stock, minus the exahust which sounds amazing, apart from body work just needs front leathers and supra emboised mats to be complete
  3. Have you got the front ones as well? And have they got supra written on them? Cheers
  4. Hi guys. Just thought is share my amazement with you after having a front end shunt into a friends Honda civic. I have been using my supra as an everyday driver for over a month now and it had been going well. Iv accepted the cost of fuel as I love the car so much! Anyway my lack of experience and skill caught up with me when I failed to stop and had a slow speed impact. I expected the worst initially, as I reversed my car out his rear was basically a write off. Boot doesn't shut or anything. Looked at mine and saw a minimally cracked front bumper and my drivers side wing and grill was ever so slightly bent. Literally hardly noticeable. I am so surprised at how much of a tank the supra is. Still gutted Iv got to pay out for my mates car and for my repairs though... Makes me wonder how cheaply built Hondas really are! And Iv owned many! anyone else had an impact that's similar?
  5. Hi guys just thought id see when the new date is for the bury meet? Got the supra running with no issues now (touch wood) and should be there for the next one!
  6. Saw an orange supra today in Deniros nightclub car park in Newmarket. It was a turbo as it has a massive intercooler and gauges on the passenger side. Looked really smart with the tinted windows and bodykit. I had my Silver NA out and they looked quality!
  7. Gutted to hear this, car thieves are scum, usually pikey scum too. Good luck to the owner
  8. Does the back up battery for the alarm work off te main battery or is a it a separate circuit? Also does this mean my car battery is crap, if it turns out it is losing charge quickly?
  9. Think it's the cold/heavy frost on the car as now it's melted the car beeped 6 times once armed again and hasn't done it since and have armed/disarmed several times?!? Odd thing typical the none japenese part of the car is utter crap lol
  10. I'd have that in an instant if it wasn't well out of my price range lol I'll have to stick with my NA for now I guess! It's a great car definitely get some more pictures up!
  11. I think it's over 3 years old so that could be why. Where is this backup battery located? Cheers
  12. Hi and welcome to the club, I'm new here too. Love the nsx! Btw the twitchiness may not be normal but of you give it a tight turn and throttle in first or second gear expect it to kick out a bit especially without LSD which mine has and still kicks!
  13. Iv just had this happen to me and had to deactivate the alarm and lock the car with the key.... I thought it was the frost or cold setting it off? Could this be a cause?
  14. Hmmm, astra coupe drivers most likely to get caught with no insurance, I had two of those cars guess I was the exception!
  15. Just wanted to say you have made my dream car! I am actually well jealous lol you have done such a good job it's unreal and the attention to detail is staggering. Well done mate
  16. Cheers mate. Will check the rest 2moro
  17. Well they have just recently been fitted all new brakes with braided hoses. Presumably if you're right that's why?
  18. Just wanted to let everyone know what the problem was as I got the car back today! It was a missing bolt for the brake caliper... It must have shaken loose and I didn't even notice. So yea all that drama was 1 missing bolt. Thanks for the ideas tho guys!
  19. Hey guys don't know for certain if I'll be able to make it as the car is in the garage.... I'll keep ya updated!
  20. Thanks mate, they haven't even looked at it yet..... So got to wait for tomorrow, luckily I'm on nights and can hopefully get picked up.... Just want to say thanks to everyone who has helped and that I really appreciate the advice! Looking forward to what I hope is a nice ownership. I'll let everyone know what the problem was when I get the car back! Thanks again!
  21. Just taken into a garage as it developed and got worse. I'm now sure it is brake related as this is only when it happens now.. There I'd a loud clunk and then grinding. Luckily once it had gotten so bad I had pulled over right outside the garage! What brake related things could it be? Or could it still be the diff as the wheels are trying to stop? so lost..... Already paid out 110 quid for electrics behind dash last week! Within the first 2 weeks of supra owner ship :-( please tell me things get easier lol
  22. Ok cheers, I just worried it was the diff because I read about other people having the same symptoms and that was the problem also because the diff bushings are a common problem. I shocks are yellow so I'm presuming they are after Market? Definitely JDM tho as they are plastered with japenese writing. It really is quite loud and worrying but I'll take it easy and jack it up 2moro, if I can't diagnose it then it's off to the garage :-( bad times! thanks for the help I really appreciate it.
  23. Seems to be worse under acceleration and when turning tight. But I have only just noticed it really. It seems worse over bumps though. I'll have to test it out more but I am worried it might go while driving. The noise is like loud banging from the rear left. At first I suspected the exhaust was getting worse but I had a look at all is fine.....
