  1. Hi Mani, Welcome to the site. Where about in the US are you? Just looked at your web site, amazing Supra you've got there serious power figures. Adrian
  2. I love the Corvette C5 beautiful car, LHD wouldn't be a problem once you were used it. Excellent performance, really reliable and low running costs and so rare. Also like the EVO 6 & 7 and the Honda S2000 is a nice car. However as they all cost more than my Supra I might not necessary own one of these cars but in the fun context of this thread would like too.
  3. This is going to look amazing and such an individual car. I look forward to seeing some of the completed pictures already. SG I defiantly wouldn't worry about there being another car like yours. Yours is very individual too, but even if there was two similar looking cars in the whole of England that's not really too much of a big deal is it?
  4. I haven't looked at there site for a long time but I remember thinking they were very, very expensive when I did. Still plenty of people seem to buy from them so I'm sure they are making a very good profit.
  5. Have you checked that the wires are connected into the back of the horns ok?
  6. A white or silver car with cream interior would look a bit weird but on a red car looks good. So I guess it makes sense to fit black interiors to these two colours.
  7. I know Adrian Flux offer discount for less than 5000 miles but its nothing to get excited about unfortunately.
  8. Ok, must have been yet another option at the time of ordering.
  9. Its is probably the lowest mileage ever but its far too expensive in my opinion but I guess it depends on how much someone wants a good UK car. Personally I'd rather have a UK car with a few more miles and save several thousand. Or even better buy a much newer facelift import and save even more still. Didn't know UK's came with black leather though, anyone else ever seen or heard of one?
  10. That's really sad news. This is something I always worry about happening but just don't understand why anyone would do it?
  11. Just seen £5600 I dont think so! You could buy a NA without any damage for that, lol.
  12. Thats a NA. How much did they want for it?
  13. Seeing that their cars are still in Japan and the level of damage on them I think they are pretty expensive.
  14. Can anyone tell me if having a decat or an uprated exhaust improves MPG on a NA?
  15. I was using the site earlier, logged off net for about 10 minutes. When I tried to get back again I was getting the same message. But now its ok, weird?
  16. Not sure why everyone else can but not him. I'd start by perhaps clearing my history and cookies?
  17. My girlfriend Micra did this and needed the gearbox oil topped up. Its made things much, much better but I don't think its the perfect solution as it still does it from time to time.
  18. I'm still working out the figures on mine to get a good idea but to divide it down to £10 at a time I'd say about 70ish miles. But mines a manual which seem to be better on fuel and I drive very slowly almost all the time. Also for some reason I find Optimax to be less economical, weird? On my Celica manual I would get about 90ish miles to £10
  19. LOL, I can just see the petrol truck fresh off the boat from the US, honestly its all for personal consumption.
  20. Try Adrian Flux, https://www.adrianflux.co.uk and Bell direct if you havent already.
  21. This country seems so anti cars its unbelievable, what the point in crushing them its such as waste. There was a case here last summer where a traffic warden noticed a car didn't have any tax and it was promptly crushed. The most unbelievable part of it was it was French car and they didn't realise it didn't need an English tax disk! Thankfully she got fully compensated but what a joke.
  22. If your going to declare mods then it helps if your with an insurance company that know what your talking about and not sorry its not our list or wheels = 20% increase in price, exhaust = 35% increase etc, etc. I would try Adrian Flux and similar specialists. If you have been quoted £7000 a year its there way of saying they don't want to insure you unless your mad enough to pay that sort of money.
  23. Your probably right there, shes younger than me but different companies have different age restrictions. I remember when getting quotes once they said I could from my 23rd birthday but most are 25.
  24. Another thing I cant understand about insurance (sorry bit off topic) I'm not allowed to drive other cars on my policy something to do with imports no doubt. But my girlfriend is allowed to drive other cars that arnt hers with the policy holder permission and her car is a Nissan Micra. Weird?
