  1. It's a very recent addition to the Team Beard site...just went live on Monday this week! I'll knit you a beanie no bother - what colours are you after? Looking at early next year for the t-shirts!
  2. Westy you can probably see the pics here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.320410127984311.82579.157593177599341&type=3&l=45dd3bbff9
  3. ^^this No matter how you try to justify it, dropping a burning cigarette on yourself IS going to distract you and I'd rather my car (and maybe "my life" for that matter) not be on the receiving end. I don't have a problem with people smoking at all, I'm not a smoker but I sometimes have the odd social one in the past - I'd just prefer people to do it whilst stationary. I completely see where people are coming from with the "ban everything" health and safety nonsense going on right now, but you're not allowed to adjust your sat nav etc when your driving, which wouldn't burn a hole in your thigh/your expensive retrim if you dropped it, so it makes sense to ban something that has the potential to cause injury to the driver. The point comparing it to smoking in your house is academic, since your house doesn't tend to travel at 70mph+ or have the potential to cause death by the owner's distraction.
  4. Here's some more evidence for you Geo... https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/391800_10151041812775245_566595244_22308731_773212299_n.jpg And a couple to prove that some work actually did happen: https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/382856_10151041812540245_566595244_22308729_1360515328_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/392002_10151041810985245_566595244_22308709_250602727_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/378454_10151041815090245_566595244_22308750_1920118379_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/376058_10151041814890245_566595244_22308749_220216588_n.jpg
  5. Eeeek, not that sort of GP!! Trust Karolina to spot that one
  6. I have a stick on one on my mx5 which didn't pass it's MOT last week...I guess it's a risk you take but I prefer the way it looks. Some idiot stole the original front plate (actually unscrewed it be pinched it, leaving the back one?!). Would love one of the electric fold ones though! Lovely!
  7. We'll be at the GP on the Sunday! This weekend is going to be awesome! Can't wait already!
  8. Tony and Karolina, we managed to get our rooms nae probs at the Hind Hotel in Wellingborough... Free secure car park and £75 a night. Go on laterooms.com
  9. That's us and marcAB10 booked into the Hind Hotel for the 3 nights at £75 a night

  11. Yay! Looks fantastic! Very, very well deserved! Taaaa for the mention too! xx
  12. If you're wanting a girl's opinion - you can't really go wrong with Chanel Bleu is my personal favourite. D&G The One or Armani Code are both lovely too. Best to go to Debenhams/Frasers or Perfume shop for Chanel - quite a lot of Boots shops don't stock it. Hope that helps! Good luck! EDIT: just realised this will be far too late if your wedding was yesterday...so congratulations and I hope she liked whatever you went for in the end!
  13. Yup, that's me! Shame you can't see the shoes...they were epic.
  14. Thanks K! Loving your pumpkin carving! What a hidden talent!!
  15. I think I might have already said this to you today...happy birthday ♥
  16. Here's mine in no particular order (representing some of the Scottish/Team Beard contingent):
  17. Happy birthday! Hope you're having a good one! x
  18. Clarkie probably wont make it now - delayed offshore indefinitely! We're both still in - gonna link this to the FB event too... http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=150234121733899
  19. We're in but just spectating - I won't be able to afford any more tyres after Knockhill the week before! Think it's a no-brainer that the Blackies will be coming on the road trip from Aberdeen as well. Clarkie is most likely also in for spectating (unless he isn't back in time). Will be a nice kick off for the birthday celebrations!
  20. Thanks! They are definitely on the potentials list! How much did they stick out from under the normal arches? Im cool with getting mine rolled but don't want to get the pulled out anymore, so thinking maybe 8s instead of 9s...
  21. Yay! Will be stocking up! Thanks!
  22. Heaven - but hard to get a hold of outside Harvey Nichols (or similar) don't you find?
  23. However unlikely this may be, the fairtrade instant coffee from Co-op is actually not bad. I've spent a fair bit of time in France, so my family love good coffee. I usually drink Espresso and buy instant sachets in France whenever I'm there (can't be bothered with all the fuss of grinding beans/coffee machines etc). Ran out recently and went for Carte Noir Expresso. It was on special offer in Asda for a reason - absolutely dire - don't waste your money on it! Agree with Charlotte on the Nescafe Espresso - good value, quick and easy and nice taste.
  24. Your method sounds a lot more thorough than the one at XFeet - they basically just schoosh your feet with some disinfectant stuff (or liquid fish food, it's hard to tell) and off you go... Not that reassuring!
