  1. Hi all, I've been trying to find a cure for a boost problem(car holding back above certain boost level). Hopefully fix it before Dragonball I don't really recognize my problem in any FAQ's or Searches I've done. problem: Whenever I press the accelerator, after the initial boost-kick, then whenever the boost rises above (>0.5) bar the car holds back. If I then feather the throttle at a certain level I can maintain boost ~0.5 and the car pulls ok. And switches to parallel mode fine. However I can't let it boost higher or it will hold back on me. (doesn't feel like misfire, and no fault codes ). car specifications(J-spec TT): - Electronic boost controller (greddy profec-b) - fcon-s piggyback last changes - changed exhaust to catback (first cat remaining) - CW SMIC 1. Could these recent changes messed up tuning? (SMIC and Catback) problem didn't start then. 2. Can I safely try disconnecting the FCON piggyback and just try with the stock ECU? 3. Does anyone know what's going on here? HELP
  2. I will do the areal swap whenever this standard antenna fails. I've swapped my j-spec dials with TRD 320 km/h and 10k rev-counter already
  3. Thanks all! Anyone got any ideas for other mods?
  4. Are the satnav routes available somewhere, or still in the making?
  5. Hi all, I thought I'd setup a hobby thread as my introduction thread was turning more and more into a projects thread. (don't consider my projects big enough for the 'projects' subforum, so didn't post there. Mods can move if required ) My idea for this project was to recreate the special brake light feature you see on some modern luxury cars. When they brake really hard the brake lights start flashing to warn cars behind them that they're braking hard. I've managed to create this for the high mounted stop light on my Supra. Let me know what you think! Things I've used for this: - Arduino UNO microcontroller board - Accelerometer - some transistors, resistors and wiring. function: The hardware: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3472574/Photo%2026-04-13%2019%2025%2029%20%28Medium%29.jpg managed to fit it next to the rear seats on the left. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3472574/Photo%2026-04-13%2019%2025%2057%20%28Medium%29.jpg

  7. I finally managed to get to it by removing the pipes to the Idle Air Control Valve. But even then it was a real PITA! Lets hope I never have to do this again. It seems to have done the trick though. But I still need to get my car tuned properly. Idle air hose:
  8. FOUND something!! so there should be a hard line down there
  9. Hi all, I've been experiencing some weird problems with my TT lately. I thought I fixed it with a new O2 sensor but the issue remains. This morning I tracked the probable cause down to a split vac hose. Unfortunately this seems to be on of the most difficult hoses to reach. You can see the split in this picture. If my research was correct this(and the one next to it) runs to the pressure tank. How on earth do I replace this??! Is the pressure tank reachable from below (on a ramp)? Any tips would be great.
  10. Fitted some meshing to the front a while ago.
  11. Very nice! love the colour. and I've got the same combo: facelift indicators with pre-head lights
