  1. 8.75 for road wheels and 9 for the track wheels with 235 tyres for road and 255 for track. Rears 9.75 road and 10 track with 265 and 285 tyres.
  2. When I was looking into this it was recommended to have the same size disks front and rear.
  3. I'm sure Paul at Whifbitz could squeeze you in. Just down the road in Enfield.
  4. Had an email back already. Just checking all the details. Will post again with more info when I get it. Group buy discounts are available so it would be good to get an idea of numbers before going to the mods here and the manufacturer. If enough are interested I may go ahead so at least we know it all works before we spend out. Let me know.
  5. If the postage is too much for Ibrar, i will take one of them
  6. Have sent them an email to see what the score is around group purchases etc. Will keep you informed! Can't use the Syvecs screen as I don't have one, Dash 2 much more expensive and think this could be integrated into the dash better than the proefi.
  7. Has anyone ever looked at these? http://www.zada-tech.com/product/multi-gauges/32-full-colour-tft-lcd-multigauge Nice 3.2 inch screen that could go where the clock is and all the sensors for AFR, EGT, Oil Pressure, Oil Temp and Water Temp for under £500. What do you think?
  8. Be careful with eBay stuff. I bought a load of stainless bolts to use with my roll cage installation. Ended up having to snap two of them and grind off two. There was a slight imperfection in the threads and the nuts locked before they were fully tight and would not budge. Made a one day job into a 2 day job. My suggestion is to find a local trade supplier and get a mixed batch from them. Good luck.
  9. Looks great. Just need to lose the bus wheel now.
  10. This is probably a hydraulic issue. The fluid had been just below minimum for a while, ahem blushes with embarrassment, but all had been fine. In normal driving it is ok, maybe a little spongy, but the problem is low speed. In traffic or when putting the car into the garage I can end up with the clutch pedal on the floor and have to knock the car out of gear. After hooking the pedal back up it will be fine for a bit. What's peoples opinions? Master cylinder, slave cylinder or the pipe between them. No obvious leaks and the level is still the same, right on max. It's a jspec TT6 with stock clutch and flywheel the only difference to stock is a TRD tranny mount, but can't see that having anything to do with it. Thanks in advance.
  11. Limited Slip Dash? Don't you just love spell checkers.
  12. Came out of AlexM car. Got it last Autumn but only got round to fitting now.
  13. Thanks Guys. Definately a hydraulic issue with the clutch though now. Put the padding on the cage and went for another blast. At low speed (manoeuvring) the pedal has a tendency to go to the floor and stay there. Also it feels a bit spongy. All fine in normal driving. Edit Replaced both master and slave cylinders to solve this problem. Added whifbitz braided clutch pipe at the same time. All good now
  14. My advice would be to take it to Jurgen in Newcastle. Not exactly local I know, but someone you can trust 100%.
  15. Thanks Paul. Went for a spin with Martin after we fitted the cage and have the brakes a bit of abuse. They were actually pretty good with those Porterfield pads. Might just do a track day or two whilst I save for an upgrade! Clutch only played up once right at the beginning too. Maybe getting the fluid above the minimum has sorted it?
  16. I recently had a similar issue. Two of the vac pipes at the rear of the engine needed replacing. They were not split but had expanded over the years and although they were still on they were leaking!
  17. Finally got the cage finished today. Big thanks to MLife for his assistance. Would have been much easier if the new stainless bolts hadn't been crap! Thanks eBay! Anyway a few piccies below from near the end. http://img.tapatalk.com/d989b314-8368-a7c0.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d989b314-8377-8309.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d989b314-8384-a1bd.jpg It's not branded but is Cusco style.
  18. Next time he comes to work drunk, nip out to the nearest call box and make an anonymous 999 call saying you've just been knocked off your push bike by a car swerving all over the place and it looked like the driver was drunk. Tell them the reg number and that you saw him go into wherever you work. Worth a try?
  19. South bound near Bury 6:15 this evening
  20. Safe to presume its a 6 speed rather than a NA-TT I think. By the way, welcome!
  21. I've said it before. Surely the look is secondary? Find somewhere where you can go and sit in the seats and see which one feels best.
  22. Half the price of a new one. Glws
  23. Good luck. If you succeed you will have to share the secret.
