  1. Done over 300 miles now with no knocks or bangs
  2. I fell in love with the TVR sagaris, made an awesome noise. Yours looked very menacing in the show and shine.
  3. Was a really good day. Need more supras there next year though.
  4. That sounds successful so far then Ed, has the knock still gone?? I tackled my subframe bolts on Tuesday night and the knock has gone and I've done 50 or so miles so I'm very happy! The test is on Saturday when I'll be doing over 200 miles. I used 2 jacks and 2 axle stands to get underneath, would be miles easier with a ramp. From close inspection my anti roll bar seems to have disintegrated so will need a replacement soon.
  5. Me and my mate are coming down with Paul in my supra. My mates cousin is racing his Mk3 Escort in the Time Attack. I'm going to pay on gate also, Don't trust Royal Mail getting tickets through in time.
  6. It's really starting to annoy me now, too the point where unless I really have to I won't take the car out so need to sort it. I was hoping it was the boot rubbers but it wasnt . Good luck at the weekend and let me know how you get on.
  7. Ye, The coilovers were brand new BC racing ones from Whiftbitz. The knock started 5 months after fitting the coilovers, just a thought any idea on the correct torque setting of the top mounts?
  8. I have had a knocking nose from the rear of the car at low speeds when on rough roads or going over speeds bumps. I have 6 month old coilovers on it and the tracking is correct, I have also replaced the drop links and made sure everything's tight with no movement yet the nose is still there. I also fitted new boot rubbers at the same time as thr drop links. I think I have narrowed it down too been loose subframe bolts. Now here's my dilemma, I have access to a mates ramp and tools but I have a carbon shine auto rear diffuser fitted, can I get access too the subframe bolts with this fitted or has it got to come off? Really don't want to have to take it off because it's a PITA to fit and I'll probably break it. I can't just chuck it on the ramp to check as Its not going to be free for a few weeks and can't get under the car as I've knack'd my knee up. Can anyone shed any light on this, also how safe is the car while I have this knock? Thanks Karl
  9. At the start of the year I had lost the love as everybody I know seemed to be getting newer shinier cars that were making my Supra look old and tired. However after a few cold showers and a watching the dragonball 2012 video 100s of times I ended up doing the following: Get shine auto carbon diffuser fitted Re fit carbon MVP style front splitter Respray front wings/bumper Full machine polish Impulse buy of BC coilovers now fitted New boot rubbers Rota Grid Drifts New alpine rear speakers Re furb j spec brakes To do still; Fit Bonnet dampers Re spray dash panels Buy UK spec front brakes & biggest upgrade to date Sort Full Auto TT BPU transplant Safe to say I have got the love back
  10. Really good pic's think the 3rd ones my favourite
  11. No good with photoshop but here's mine with your old LED rear lights. I'd go with the stealth look and keep it black!
  12. Hmmm, Could you pm me the sort of figure you'd be after for all this? Would save me a lot of messing about by buying a full setup, especially knowing the care and attention you have given it. Thanks Karl
  13. Was 20 when I bought my N/A Auto Import now 23 and debating buying a TT or going N/A - TT. I've never paid more than £600 to insure it - have a multi car policy with my rents.
  14. Only just seen the other two posts. Thanks a for the offer Rog however I've now made my mind up and will be ordering some Rota Grid Drifts in Matt Black, or Hyper black, or gloss black lol. Missed out on a set of Volk TE37's on eBay in Gold which I'm a bit gutted about as they went for less than I expected Also I couldn't find anywhere to purchase a centre cap from for the racing harts Keron was selling and he sold them in the meantime. It was Monsween's supra that has made me choose the Grids over the Gtr's, think his car looks superb The fact that my rear tyres are nearly illegal has forced me into having to make the decision this week. Will post pictures once fitted Kitch79 you've a healthy budget at £1750 for new alloys and tyres although its taken me nearly 3 years to make my mind up lol.
  15. If you want to sell the racing harts separately I'd happily take them off your hands
  16. Doesn't matter to me, I'll meet wherever suits everyone else.
  17. That Sundays good with me, even if there's only a few of us it's better than nothing.
  18. We seriously lack ambition up here. Can't believe we can't even get 5 of us together. Come on let's get our pride and joy's out on show, instead of hiding them away!
  19. Its out on Friday the 17th, so I reckon we should go the Sunday 19th Afternoon/Night?
  20. Just seen the advert and thought about asking the same question. I'm up for it in Hull, York or even at X-Scape
  21. Rob I would love trafficstars or some CW Classics, but I use and abuse the car too much to warrant spending that sort of money on alloys also I would cry if I were to curb them. After seeing these pictures from Jurgens Facebook I quite like the look of these Volk GR-C's What do you think? Also Lui hopefully still has them for safe here. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?270201-Volk-GR-C-18-quot-wheels-complete-with-Goodyear-F1-s-Fitted-all-round&highlight=Volk And I can always get them re furbed like these with black centres.
  22. I do like the racing harts, however from what I've read the ideal wheel size on a supra is 18" and I wouldn't want to compromise the handling. What's the specs on your alloys dodgeyrog? I do like the look of those. Thanks for the offer Nic, but I'm leaning towards something with a little dish. TubbyTwo I agree entirely, they look like an halfords special and really ruin the overall look of the car. Once I've got the alloys and brakes sorted that should be the outside complete.
  23. Hi All, Ever since I first bought my car I've disliked the fox racing alloys, I've now been looking for 3 years for some that take my fancy. I'm ideally after a set of 18" staggered fitment in 8.5j front and 9.5 or 10j rear with an offset to push the alloys as flush as possible with the standard arches. Have a budget of around £1200 including tyres this can be for used or new alloys. All suggestions, pictures and offers welcome. Really wanted these but just missed out on them. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?288606-volk-racing-GT-U-18-quot-wheels-and-tyres-(rays-engineering)&highlight=Volk Keep leaning towards the Rota GTR for the front and GTR Drift on the rears in flat black. Also need a suggestion on colours, like the idea of black alloys on a white car but this seems too common at the moment on new cars. And another thing to note is that the brakes are standard J Spec but will be K-Sport 356mm 6 pots in the future. Few pics of the car in question. Thanks in advance Karl.
