  1. I'm having the entire paintwork on my car done next week, all in silver as before and also having the wheels refurbed. DodgyRog recommended Shellshocked in Newton Abbott as a good place to try. I was wondering though... is there anything I can do to my bumper to make it look a bit more modern? It looks like it could do with some mesh or something in the middle as it just looks like a fish mouth right now... any ideas? Below pics show the old low bumper that I took off and the new one with gap... (Oh and I'm keeping this bumper :)
  2. Can anyone help with where the 3-pin LED flasher converter fits onto? Apparently it fits under the driver's footwell but i'm not sure where abouts? I have removed the cover under the steering wheel but cannot see anywhere obvious where this fits into. It is just a small unit thing that stops the LEDs flashing too quickly... Does anyone have any ideas please???
  3. What does a flushed front wing like a facelift look like??
  4. Looking great, I'm hoping I can get my wheels as good as this!!
  5. As requested this is SupraJoe's
  6. Looking very nice, and think you might have tempted me with this one Rog!
  7. Sorry i don't have a clue what the thing would be called but it comes off the airbox and to the front grill bit, I have just had the induction kit taken off to replace with the standard airbox and would like this bit too if anyone has it..?? Thank you
  8. I whacked mine with a hammer through the screwdriver and just kept trying and trying. Took about 90mins... Very rewarding when they finally come out that's for sure!!
  9. Sounds about right but it'll vary depending if you were on a slope when you first looked at the dial or not
  10. Another iphone set of pics but here are mine all the same...
  11. If you're anything like me and have wasted countless £££ on sprays from Halfords over the years on "Wet Look/Liquid Look" Tyres sprays that just seem to wash right off and collect dirt on them then maybe try this: http://www.tts-detailing.co.uk/wheels-and-tyres/ultimate-wet-look-tyre-dressing.html I bought some last week (when it was still dry weather) and it's easily the best stuff I've every bought, really happy with it
  12. What is a better idea? Full respray??
  13. I'm thinking of getting respray soon on bumpers on back and front and the guy who is going to do it has told me he uses a £10,000 machine that scans paint first on the vehicle so he can match it up. Does that sound like a normal thing to happen? I just want to avoid having bumpers that do not match as that will drive me crazy!!!
  14. Undertaking has bad news written all over it, I try to stop people doing that every time if I can. Think you can lose your license if the police see you do it
  15. I was on the M5 southbound over the weekend travelling in lane 3 behind a couple of other cars waiting to get by. All of a sudden some crap looking 4x4 comes up close behind and flashes his lights to try to get me to move over. I had cars in front of me so there was no way that was gonna happen, so, as I hate having that done to me the first thing I did was activate the windscreen wash (nothing worse than that on the motorway when you've just cleared your screen!!lol). Then I waited about another min or 2 for the lane to clear and floored it, the 4x4 wasn't even in sight so I'm not sure why he even bothered. I drive an N/A and I think that is when my car is at it's best at the top end. I'm not a speeder but that driver really annoyed me at the time. Do people do this as a power thing to try to scare you out of lane? Anyone had this done to them and then lost miserably?
  16. I saw this one for sale in May last year i'm sure a guy called Dougie or something in Scotland was trying to sell it
  17. 4 tyres last week with no passengers, couldn't see out of the passenger window though
  18. Seems strange to steal a car so distinguishable, you either keep it the same colour and people recognise it, or spend a fortune getting rid of every blue area on the car, which in this case looks a huge job!?
  19. It's a good call that one Rog it might actually account for a couple of quid or so, I think the rest was down to speed
  20. Thanks for the maths guys, I thinks it's because I got there and back on 80quid last time, but it doesn't sound as bad now
  21. Travelled up to Milton Keynes on Friday night from Plymouth and although I was doing 71 miles an hour most of the way it used more fuel than it seemed to last time out. Is this likely to be down to the o2 sensors? Or should i just slow down? I am driving an n/a
  22. Yeah that stuff is awesome it saved me literally hours when I bought some of that!!
  23. I've been told recently that an induction kit basically can suck the warm air out of the engine so I was going to try the original system instead for my N/A. Does anyone have one that is ready to fit?! Thanks Stewart
