  1. I had the same a little bit on mine. Try pulling the black plastic fan bit up a bit, on mine it raised up a bit and so covered the horrible sponge look and you wouldn't know now. But to be honest yours looks like it's be South-Facing for a few years there...
  2. Hopefully lol, this is so frustrating. I have the old lights, the bulbs fit then try in the new lights and they don't, they do for a couple but not the other 2 so I'm b******d if I know
  3. Hmmm it's seeming that maybe the original bulb loom is Jspec so therefore won't fit on here. I'm due to get some HID lights soon will these eliminate this problem?
  4. The old lights are from a J-Spec and they are plastic, the new ones are the glass off Whifbitz which I was told would fit any model. This metal bit prevents the bulb from slotting in by mm literally otherwise every other bulb its fine so I can't understand it
  5. Sorry but now I have another problem! One of the bulbs doesn't seem to fit in like it did in the old unit. I have attached 3 pics to show the problem. Basically the new lights seem to have a little metal bit stopping the bulb from fitting in... shown at the bottom of the pic here. It says the word "lock" right next to the bit of metal blocking it. Any ideas now????
  6. Cheers for the help guys, one just successfully removed! Best idea is to look at the design on the new light and spring thing just moves down and releases the bulb. But to be honest most probably already knew that!
  7. Can anyone tell me what I should do with this last white wire here in the attached picture please? I am trying to remove my headlights but I can't see in there properly and don't want to just yank it out like the wire next to it in case the fittings are different. It seems that the fitting on that bulb is different to all the others on the car!! Any help please??
  8. Yeah I think the impact screwdriver was the one that was feared would dent the bodywork, I can't be sure though. Good to know that what I've got will sort it though, thank you!!
  9. Does anyone have a photo of the rear of their Supra's with the new 96 facelift rear lights on their car by any chance that they can post on here??
  10. A while back I bought some Boot Rubbers from Whifbitz thinking this would put an end to the annoying rattle in the back. However I cannot for the life of me get the old screws out, particularly the bottom ones, they are solidly screwed in. A friend said that forcing them out (by whacking them out) could change the rear shape and not worth risking. Has anyone else had this problem? And are these boot rubbers actually going to stop the rattling anyway or is it really the long strips of rubber that are more effective?
  11. Is there anywhere that will sell the 95 style lights do you know?
  12. Hello all, Can someone please confirm if the brake lights to purchase on Whifbitz ( http://whifbitzperformancetuning.co.uk/toyota-supra-lighting-toyota-p-1825.html ) are the same that would appear on a 1995 N/A please? I am considering buying these but would like to make sure they have the same look as my current ones or did they redo them a bit. I have to say I love the way my current ones look but would love to have that look 15 years younger. Anyone bought these that can confirm or is there an alternative available? Cheers
  13. Just gotta say that Maguirs Metal Polish stuff is working really well, only spent 10 mins on each wheel so far and already looking shiny, thanks for the tips!!!
  14. Thank you, that Meguiars stuff isn't going to leave a scratched look on the surface is it??
  15. After the snow and ice of late last year I fear my wheels and also my exhaust are not looking half as good as they were before. The wheels particularly (as they are bordering on chrome finish) are looking decidedly dull and I can feel that they are rough to touch and I cannot seem to get them anywhere near back how they were. In an ideal world I would cover the car up til March but it is my only vehicle so I don't really have a choice but to go out in the Winter. Does anyone have any tips to get the wheels back how they were please? Can they be hight polished clean or does somebody know some "miracle" product that is gonna do it for me? Thanks in advance...
  16. Does anyone know where I can get one? I've Ebayed it and all I ever seem to get is a bedroom wall clock and I'm pretty sure that's not gonna fit in my dashboard! Does anyone know the best place? My current one has the 3 buttons missing and goes out all the time until i bang it and it comes back on again
  17. Well I found out in the end that mine is already decatted!!! lol
  18. Cheers guys, i'm not sure my neighbours are going to approve of this!
  19. Lol oh yeah Steve Manley!! How do I get hold of him does anyone know? I was going to try Whifbitz but apparently they only sell them without the bulbs
  20. Can anyone tell me what decatting is please? I understand it means taking off the Catalyctic Converter or something but how easy is that to do on an N/A and will it give it a bit more poke? Or just make it drink more fuel and suffer mechanical problems?
  21. Hi all, After failing miserably on the search area on here I thought I better post this. Where is the best place to get brand new glass front headlights including bulbs too? I heard someone called Richard Manley can get them but I don't have any idea who he is on here. Also I wanted to get them including the daylight bulbs, are these called Halogen?? Many Thanks in advance
