Hi, How are you all? Does anyone know what is the size and weight of the stock MKIV intercooler? And...if I m replacing the IC with another stock unit do I need to change some other bits (like pipes etc.) or is it just a straight swap? Is it a DIY job?

Its not that expensive actaully. I think the bearing is about £70 or so. Its a bugger to get it fitted though. Cuba

Toyota built a Fuel Cut to protect the Turbos from overboost. It is a common knowledge that you can run a UK supra up to 18 PSI or 1.23Bar In order to achieve that you need to fool that Toyota ECU and this is done with TRL FCD Cuba

You need a Fuel Cut Defenser. That will allow you to boost over 1 Bar. Go to trlperformance website. Thats where I got mine from. Cuba

I think its time to sort this out so any suggestions are welcome. When I put the car in reverse and drive for a short distance and then brake, I get a knock from somwhere at the back of the car. Then I drop it in D and drive- its ok, until I have to brake for first time, then I hear the knock again. It will knock only once on braking in Reverse and in Drive. The car handles great and when I try to rock it it stays riggid and there is no funny sounds. I looked at some previos post about suspension but could not identify my problem. Dont even know if its suspension that I should be thinking of. Many thanks in advance, Cuba

We have really rocked London last night. It was nice to have met you all guys. I could do with another one of those spicy lamb sasuage at that bar in Chelsea. We have had some mad guys joining us, like Fastisnice(car mods virus typical example). It was nice to see Branners there, as I always thought of him as the perfect driver who would never brake the 30 limit!!(not that we did):flame Dev Great to see the usual suspects! I still think though that we should meet up without the cars one night, then try and not talk about the mods and how much we spent on them, for at least 4 hours. How does that sound?? I dont know if the BBS Members party is still going ahead?? Anyway, great night considering that most of the guys had to be up early to go to France (I m still so upset on having to miss this one,work has yet again ruined my w/end plans) Hope to be meeting the same people next time.
