  1. Does anyone know how the FMIC affects the cooling of front brake discs? With the original IC it also works as a cooling aid for the right side front disc? if you remove the stock IC, how does the air that goes to brake disc gets cooled? Cuba
  2. So when are you supposed to use it, in stationary traffic?? NOS is there to make your car go fast! And why would NOS and stock TTs be a bad idea. I am on my second NOS kit now. First one was a single fogger wet kit. I have a direct port now. Over a year of using Nitrous Oxide and no problems. Cuba
  3. Yeah, I agree. Caution is a good thing.
  4. 25 shot will be totally unnoticable. Even 75bhp on my previous setup (single nozzle) wasnt all that much. Direct port 120 shot is quite interesting. 75 shot is totally safe. I ve done it loads of times. going over 120 bhp will be pushing it with stock manifold. My advise is go on and have fun with N2O. Dont spray below 3500rpm. Watch the fuel cut! Cuba
  5. mkiv.com hatch rattel I think I paid about 20 quid for mine as I changed the top ones as well as the bottom ones. Cuba
  6. Ordered my starter kit today, about 3-4 days wait. I ll try to get some pics of the job for everyone's benefit. having said that, I have never done it before, so it should be fun! Cuba
  7. I always thought that it was a gentelmen's forum.... " I suggest you be careful....." What's wrong with you man?? If you cant accept a valid comment then its just your problem and I SUGGEST YOU WATCH YOUR MOUTH! Cuba
  8. Well, its quite simple. If I can ran low 12s with an almost stock car on street tires with some NOS, I would image ANY driver would manage better then 11s in a 1000bhp car on slicks. so something aint right! And I compare times on the same drag strip. Cuba
  9. Dont want to stir up a big argument, but this supra is 950bhp with NOS and he hasnt yet managed to go below 11sec. I dont think its a great example to show, tuning wise. Cuba
  10. I did it myself. To be honest, it wasn't the easiest. There are to bolts on the exhaust side of the egr that are very tough to get to but with the right tools it worked ok. Apart from that its not to bad. Cuba
  11. I would remove it all together. I have done it. Blocked off both ends. Works great. I once had the same problem, I was shiting my pants thinking that I blew my turbo. the noise that the egr pipe was making was kind of similar to death whine. The advise is: remove it and bin it! Cuba
  12. will try just that, Thanks has any one got a ready one?? Lazy I am!!
  13. Hi, I have a friend who has a special embroidery machine and he can print some t shirt or polo shirts for me. The only problem I have is that he needs the file to be in the PES format. I searched on the net but couldnt find anything. Can anyone help? Cuba
  14. So what HP will 650cc injectors support? Cuba
  15. Hi guys, I will be going single soon. I m planning on doing it the right way, so I will be upgrading my fuel ( 720cc). First question is: I can get the AEM at a good price. Is it worth going that way? or shall I just stick to normal fuel controlers? With the auto box ( to which I will be adding additional coolers and changing the converter to 4000 stall) what would the best turbo set up be/? My goal is to achieve about 600-650 bhp, I dont want it to be too laggy, I will be using N2O as well. but I want it to be a daily car as well as drag strip monster:) What shall I go for? thanks, Cuba
  16. I ll take some pics soon. I will need to use my mobile phone camera and I dont have the transfer cable, but I ll buy one!!
  17. Boost at 1.3 Bar max, and EGT at about 760C. Is that bad.>? the think about nitrous is that you only use it for a few seconds so even if it gets a bit high, its just for those few seconds. Oh, and I have had this on for more than 2 months now, and.... all is well. Cuba
  18. Hi, I ve heard some negative comments on going with the direct port and shooting 150bhp into my engine. Some people were saying that the standard manifold would not cope with such a huge inrease. But... I ve done it and everything seems fine. The kick is really crazy. Estimated powet at about 600bhp. Need to dyno it yet, but feels amazing. Cuba
  19. I ve got this problem on my car. Sometimes I turn the key and I just get the click and nothing else. I noticed that it happens mostly on the wet , rainy days( dont know if it has anything to do with it).
  20. I m having some stuff polished at the moment(intake manifold, TB etc.) I was thinking of polishing the powersteering tank as well. What do I need to do before I remove it?? and what do I need to know about fitting it back? Will I need to bleed the system or anything like that? thanks, cuba
  21. Hi, I'm fitting NOS Direct Port Kit so I took the intake manifold off for drilling. it will be polished and possibly chromed at the same time. My question is, what needs doing or can be easily done since I m so deep in the engine. I ll be doing the EGR block off mod. Anything else?? Thanks
  22. A bit from the lower shelf, but a good performer. Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 I had these in 275/40/17 They were cheap and I had 9000 SP Sport before, I can honestly say that it didnt feel worse, maybe even a bit better. never had SO3's though. Cuba

Hi. I ve got an NX kit fitted. Works great. Its 75bhp at the moment, but just trying to get hold of a direct port injection kit which could give me 150+bhp. FANTASTIC> Go with highpower. They are really good. Cuba
  24. Guys are right, I can choose anything upto 5 characters so SUPRA is possible, but I m not too sure. My current one is O1 KUBA, I had OO KUBA already, I may get CUBA, or something, I like NOS, or N2O, BOOST, 2FAST What do you think?
  25. Hi, I m going to buy a number plate for my supra. I am allowed to choose any word made of 5 characters. What shall I get. I have one with my name on it, but I want another one. Something cool pls. Cuba
