  1. I booked my car for a new decat 3" exhasut to be fitted. Its a Eur spec TT 94 model, Will I have a problem with boost cut?? I dont have a BCC. What boost can I expect, and at what boost does the cut come on>? Anybody? Thanks Cuba
  2. I bought a 5 litre bottle from the garage the other day. And... guess what, i used about 3/4 and it overfilled and went all over the battery. that tought me a lesson. Cuba
  3. Yeah, I think Euro and UK specs are pretty much the same. Please share any info when you get it. cheers, Cuba
  4. Hi, I had my car up on the ramp yesterday when I was having a quote for a new exhaust and .... I noticed the centre part of the diff covered in oil. It wasnt dripping or anything, it was just there. What could be the cause? What damage can it do to the car, and how to fix it? All inputs will be greatly appreciated, Please help!! Thanks, Cuba
  5. 11psi, what is it in the other money (hpkg?)?? that's the way i ve got it displayed on the Turbo Timer.
  6. Just a quick question. Whats the standard boost on a EUR spec? Cuba
  7. So? All together not recomended?
  8. Has anyone ever done that?? I found it on the Mkiv.com website. Whats are the downsides of that? Cheers, Cuba
  9. I have just spoken to Powerflow again today and they have verified that they can do a 3 " exhaust and in their opinion I should not put anything smaller on a TT. I had a quote from them but for a 2.5" so I have to go there again and negotiate my new price. Thank you all for the best advise. Thanks Gavin for recomending Leon, if Powerflow should not work out I will get in touch with him. Have a good weekend Cuba
  10. Thanks Alex, I was thinking about the full decat system. I got a good quote from Powerflow for the whole lot but its only a 2.5". Do you know whats the stock exhaust size, just to compare? IMO, I didnt think that the .5" would make such a great difference. I think I ll go with that. Thanks
  11. Happy New Year All, I have asked you guys once about the custom made exhasut. Somone mentioned that it should be a 3" or nothing. I can get a 2.5" from Powerflow but not 3". What real difference does it make and would you fit a 2.5" system? Thanks Cuba
  12. We are on the same boat mate, my Supra started squeaking few days ago. When its warm it will stop. Help, anyone?? Cuba
  13. Ok, so the Turbo Timer works fine and it also displays the boost. The question is: Should I let the Turbo Timer calculate the best cooldown time or should I preset it manually to say 2 minutes always. Thanks for your inputs, Cuba
  14. Ok Guys, I think I just realized what I was doing wrong. Thanks for all your help, I ll try it again tomorrow and I think I ll be fine. Thanks again. Its always good to know that if I m in trouble with something I can always get an answer here. Cheers, Cuba
  15. Thanks Gordon, Right, if I "T" between A and B I still have one hose loose ( I marked it as ????- as I dont know what it does). What shall I do with the ???? hose. thanks
  16. Right, I followed the steps from MKIV.com. There is one thing though. There is one hose then you ve got the Y joint and there are two other hoses, One goes to Turbo Pressure sensor and the other connects to the Throtle body just aft of the sensor. Now, if I use the T joint to get my hose to the turbo sensor what do I do with the other hose. I m sure its there for a reason and should not be left unplugged. Please bare with me if I sound thick but I m not very good with those things. Thank you again. Cuba
  17. Hi All, I have just fitted my Blitz DATT Turbo Timer. It works fine as the timer, but it doesnt show the boost levels. I know I have to connect it to the boost sensor(??). Is that right? And how do I do that? I have got one rubber hose left from the kit,and I guess that should connect somewhere on the Turbos, But no idea where. All help will be appreciated. Thanks, Cuba
  18. My passenger seat works but the drivers doesnt even though the light is on!
  19. Oh, they told me as well that my BHP increase would be in the range of 7-8 BHP? IS THAT RIGHT?
  20. thanks Guys, Just came back from Powerflow. They quoted me full de cat system for £450.00 as I m a good customer. I think I remeber they mentioned it would be 2.5 inch. Is that no good?? What do you think abou the price? If you say its not worht it I ll look to have it done somewhere else. Cheers
  21. Yeah, I ve noticed that. Its strange as you would think that if you are in 3rd and then go to OD you switch to 4th. When you turn off MANU your revs change again. We have a 4 spd Auto, so why does it happen?
  22. I want to have a full de cat exhaust done. I had a Powerflow custom build on my last car ( Megane Coupe 2.0 16V) but was thinking what are your opinions? Are the Jap tuners better? Whats the BHP increase with Powerflow? Any comments greatly appreciated.
  23. Great help, Thanks very much. I ve got secure parking at work as well so its fine for that. I m going to get one next week. Is it a DIY job or do I need to leave it to the garage? Thanks again
  24. Hi guys, I had no chance to properly introduce myself. I got my Supra from Poland, its a LHD Auto imported from Switzerland. It is very much standard, but I m planning on a few changes. I ve had the car for more then a month and I think I got fed up with sitting in the car waiting for cooldown. Ok, I want to fit the Turbo Timer, I ve got a good contact in Japan so I can get hold of Jap parts a bit cheaper. The question is, will it work with my alarm. The alarm system I bought the car with is Chalanger( dont know the exact model) , its the one with three buttons on the remote. i m new to this so any comments will be appreciated. Does it matter which alarm system you have when choosing the timer? thanks
  25. Has anyone ever used The Ecotek Valve on their Supra. I had it fitted on my last car but it wasnt a turbo. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. BTW: their Website: http://www.ecotekplc.co.uk
