  1. Right, So Chris, you're saying that NOS is a no no? What else can I do to get me quicker off the line, at the moment its great when the turbos kick in, but it jsut doesnt seem so fast before that. Cheers Cuba
  2. Nothing crazy, I just want to eliminate my off the line delay. I was thinking 50 to 100 hp. Cuba
  3. Guys, What in your opinion should be done to the engine before going for NOS? Its a TT with 60K miles with regular services done. Is there anything that I need to make sure is done so I dont end up with the bits of engine getting killed? Thanks for all replies, Cuba
  4. Is there any way to stop the radio aerial extending every time I switch the radio on?? I took my car thru the car wash last week ( i know, i won't do it again) and I was stupid enough to listen to the radio. So, it got broken. I managed to fit the aerial into the slot but it sticks out a bit. If I can stop it from extending when I switch the radio on I could still listen to the radio when I get the stronger signal. I ordered the new one but I have to go to Poland tomorrow and I dont really fancy 1000 miles without a radio. Any help?? thanks Cuba
  5. I got my bleeder valve from Chris Wilson. Its very high quality. It works very well and even I managed to fit it myselsf. If you have an extra piece of hose then you dont have to cut the stock hoses and its easier to put it back to normal if you need to. Cuba
  6. I got the TT from Japan and the harness from Blitz UK. Give it a go, you ll feel good when it all works.
  7. Hi Andrew, I fitted one myself. It was the first one I have ever done and I only had the Japanese manual to it. I speak a bit of japanese so it helped me slightly, but I can say that its rather simple to fit. The harness I got was i think £16 including delivery. I got it from Blitz UK. At first the amount of work involved scared me but it was not that bad. The hight boost alarm is audio as well as visual. All together, very good TT. Small and easy to fit. Cuba
  8. Still have a problem. Could that be a faulty BOV? There is a bit of oil around it!
  9. Just noticed it yesterday. When the turbo comes on line I get a strange air sucking like noise from under the bonnet. I have a boost gauge and there is no loss of turbo pressure. So what is it and how bad is it?? Thanks
  10. Terminator, I thought that Powerflow knew what they were doing. They said that they have done a few Supras. I guess I had to learn it the hard way that they are not. Cheers, Cuba
  11. Sorry Chris, Didnt realize that all your info is right there. Not my best day:confused: Cuba
  12. Thanks for supprot Guys, Do you think I should take it back to them and ask why is it more restrictive now? I think I ll get in touch with Chris anyway. Chris, Whereabouts are you?? Cuba
  13. Happy, happy... :p But, they said they couldnt remove the first cat for some reasons. So I ve still got one left, the car seems so much more responsive and quicker. One thing that puzzles me is that I boost lower then on the stock system. Any ideas? Cuba:)
  14. Having my exhasut done tomorrow, Can't wait. When I had it done on my last car (only a 2.0 16v megane coupe) it made a great difference. Will let you know tomorrow how I got on! Cheers Cuba
  15. hkpa=hectopascal 1 hectopascal=1 bar Cuba
  16. Alex, What BHP do you see with a 1.3bar? Cuba
  17. Might be the Turbo seals, oil in the exhaust? Not good either way. Cuba
  18. pic of my Supra's spioler, as I said its originally from Swizerland
  19. My car is originally from Switzerland and its got a full size spoiler. I ll try to find a pic. Cuba
  20. Guys, I asked the same question not long ago. I was offered a 2.5" system but many people on this forum told me that "its a 3" or nothing" and "better stick with the stock if you are not doing a 3" system" Confused:eek: And... I m booked in for tomorrow for a full decat with a 3" system. Funny. Cheers, Cuba
  21. Hi Guys, Yet another question to the bible of knowledge. If I get the Blitz SBCid or any other boost controller will I still need to buy a Boost Cut defencer? Thanks, Cuba
  22. I have a problem ( hope not a great one). I was driving up to central London last night and have to admit that I was giving it a bit of stronger then normal driving. I noticed that when I stopped I couldnt turn the steering wheel as easy as you normally can when you are stopped. It was just fine when I was in motion(even slow traffic, 5mph) but it was very heavy when stationary. And more interesting, that it was not happening all the time but every 4 out of 10 stops(approx). I stopped at the garage later and noticed that my left front tyre was very low on air. I topped it up and it seemed to have dissapeard. Could it only be that I had a flat tyre and it was hard to move the wheels, or do I have a Power Steering problem? Please let me know what you think as I was rather concerned last night. Sorry for the great long post. Thanks for taking time to read. Cheers Cuba
  23. Really appreciate your help guys, I should get the VFCC next week. I ll let you know how I got on with fitting it. Cheers and have a good Weekend Cuba
  24. Right, so if I take them both out I m gonna need a Greddy BCC? Can anyone get one? Cuba
