  1. The engine is indeed that of an NA, however looking through peoples feedback, they seem legit. There is one feedback that the engine wasn't what it was in the pic and another I found where the guy didn't get his engine but other than that all seems ok (not sure if they guy got his money back or what, and I didn't study the feedback comments in detail) They offer fitting, so surely you could pay once the engine has been fitted?

    Hi all!

Welcome, I've owned a 6 speed NA and would recommend this by far - solid gearboxes (worth about £2k alone) and setup if you wanted to do an engine transplant later down the line. You'd need to spend at least £4k for one though, and not many about.
  3. that sound is amazing mate, fucking brilliant infact!!!
  4. Welcome to the club mate, I used to own and R33 GTR.... loved every minute of it and still say to this day it was the best car I've ever owned - ignore the "Datsun" comments...... "haters gona hate" Advice I'd say use the search button, take a good long look at the for sale and parts for sale section, plenty of powerful cars being broke at present and some rather nice goodies to be had. Enjoy your stay
  5. Paul, Just answer the questions, the longer you go one, the more suspicious everyone will be..... start with this one: Why was the name on the receipt that was provided, for another car dealer and not PB Cars?
  6. To me, this is too obvious with the amount of similar stories and receipt proof that has been provided, willingly by members on here. If I was PB, a man of an honest company selling high powered Japanese and mainly Supra cars with my reputation on the line on this forum and the implications, I would take time out to provide concrete, solid answers and not post up small efforts of responses as and when. The repercussions of this would be too damaging for the business and could even ruin it. It's now Friday, and little has been done to prove us wrong from PB. The people behind this, IMO, are fraudulent and thus should be banned. Unless PB can detail each questions that's been asked with specific answers with backed up proof (pics, reason for name on receipt etc) then all he'll be doing from now on is keeping us going by saying he'll reply in due course. Whoever you are, you're a shame on the Supra community.
  7. When I was looking at SCs, I was very tempted by these guys: http://www.bulletcars.com/superchargers/toyota/1-uzfe-v8-engine-supercharger-system.html
  8. so I have (had) some spare time in work, looked on his website and the address is: Paul Brown Cars Limited. Cressex Business Park, Buckinghamshire Searched on Google Maps - no such address....... took out the Paul Brown Cars Limited, and took a wander around the business park using the street view..... found loads of businesses, none that sell cars though...... I think this reply he promised us on Thursday is not coming. We have unearthed a fraud for sure. This thread should be passed around car forums through the UK and it's story will be told for generations to come.....
  9. Nice mate, I also have one of these with a R154 gearbox.... fabulous sound and built by Thor. Here's a pic of my engine..... still enough room for a nice SC or TT too:
  10. Mr Brown, just thought I'd bump this thread as today is indeed Thursday, so in eagerness of your reply which you promised, I didn't want you to not be able to find the thread......
  11. Bargain Cars Direct - done a search on Google for these guys, no website but an address has popped up which is a residential area?? This link shows a Google map image and says the company is disolved: http://www.companiesintheuk.co.uk/ltd/bargain-cars-direct
  12. regarding recognising the car: The front number plate has that blue bit on the left (as you're looking at the car) - did yours have that too?
  13. but is it identical to your car from the pics you can see? Have you not got any of your own pics of the car that you could post up? (engine bay, interior?)
  14. was it this "as new" one advertised: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/4219655.htm
  15. Great work there mate..... looks kazillion times better and nice to see a Supra brought back to it's former glory. Enjoy

    Photoshop

IMO that's a hideous colour - no one should do this photoshop favour to save your own dignity!
  19. Mine hanged quite low until recently, even the pipe out the back looked low - it was the clips where the pipe connects to the back box and eroded so i got some cable ties for now..... works a treat
  20. Dildos = headlight washers......... That's some funny s#1t. Cheered me up
  21. Japlover

    Sold up :-(

Good luck in your new venture, I was looking at a Gixxer last year before opting to remain in car ownership and bought the v8 from Jamie P, maybe over the next couple of years I will if all goes well. Bikes look fantastic
  22. I have a pretty beastly exhaust on there at present actually, just piping all the way back to a smallish box - no bung. I'll get a video of it and post it up, sounds awesome
