  1. WOW..... keeping a real close eye on this. Looks superb!! Those rims are huge!! epic
  2. so if you had £16k to spend, which would you rather have, the above or this Fortune 3 for £14k?...... http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2199673.htm Id personally go for the Fortune, the front looks better IMO and you could spend £2k on goodies!! edit - didnt read the add - FAIL its an unfinished project.....
  3. you could keep everything stock, just roll out the arches, drop it with some heavy looking split rims and slightly stretched tyres (not going the euro look though), just enough the stance is aggressive.....
  4. Apologies mate ive only seen this reply today..... yea theyre BK Racing. Had them on the car when i bought it. Im undecided whether i like them or not if im honest, then clean up very well but i am a fan of 19" and dont think they come in that size.
  5. Its the Whifbitz carbon front lip. looks very nice i must say
  6. Heres my SZ-R 6 speed N/A, still a work in progress:
  7. yea ive recednt;yinstalled a de-cat..... im confident its nothing more than a diagnostic fault thats irrelivant to the runnig of the car but you never can tell. i`ll do some homework and feedback what i find so people who have this in the future can look into
  8. right i checked the brake fluid and its full up. Maybe a dodgy sensor of some kind? is there anyone in the south west i could take it too for a diagnostic check?
  9. ive since done some searches and have found a few other threads similar with the same.... fingers crossed its just that. i`ll check. thanks
  10. Hi guys, Bit of a worry..... my engine light and red triangular hazzard/warning light on the dash have come on, the thing is the car has enough oil and coolant in and runs fine, no clunking or grinding atall.... is there anything silly it could be or do i need to get it checked out somewhere? Is there anything else i can look for to diagnose? I drive a n/a 6 speed manual if that helps.... Look forward to some replies Simon
  11. i actually quite like these wheels: seem a good price too
  12. that looks so much better (than stock) and im also liking the mods you done to distrbute the light better. Think i`ll have to get mine done at some point now
  13. I'd say its a good price considering the colour change yes
  14. really? They are that bad? jesus i best get the stock one back then....
  15. well tonight i had the 1st de-cat fitted, sounds alot better now and a nice rasp on full beans..... had the front lights treated to with some kind of prime stuff and Auto Glym paint renevator...... the lft is as it was, the right is just been finished in the pic you can also see the HKS mushroom air filter ive installed recently
  16. Attero, Heres a pic of how the spat is fitted from undernath.... there is a braket but unsure if this is the only bolt holding it in, unless my mate used some kind of glue for the rest im not sure?
  17. Attero: On mine there was some measley standard kind of skirts, not like the ones above tho, not much to them, they were screwed into the bottom of the rear bumper and these skirts just screwed in when taking the flimsy things off, so im sure it must be something standard somehow.... i`ll go have a look. Rogier: Thanks again mate - 100% salesfeedback is what i'd give if i was a paid member but at present im not so i`ll have to sing your praises here instead lol. What do you mean by infront of the wheels, you mean the back wheels the section infront of them with the kind of hole in?? I do have all the previous items though yes should you want any. Ive also been today polishing up the stainless NUR spec exhaust as it had all kinds of road muck on it. was a horrible brown colour.... so got some alloy wheels cleaner and went to work. Not quite finished yet but its a long job to do and looks so much better, just a few more small bits to work off. Also fitted my new rear lights today..... bought them from Keron - again 100% feedback for what was purchased. They have the black surround as opposed to the grey. I changed them as my left was leaking in water and these look superb. Will go nicely with the rest of the carbon bits i get on the car. Now im about to go out, give the girl a good wash, scrath t-cut as the front and back bumpers have kind of swirl marks on and look like the pain is lightly cracked so will see if that works, then tonight im fitting the front de-cat and treating the front lights to get that horrible yellowy look off. making good progress now on how i want her to look.
  18. thanks guys like i said im really happy with the results. for anyone who needs a body spray shop in Bristol area, go to Sprayed It on Cruisehall Road
  19. Marc - dont suppose yours is silver too is it? lol Heres some piccies, pic quality is poor due to them being done from the blackberry: Really pleased with the outcome and how the car looks now, just need that splitter lol
  20. well im not sure whether to not to start a project thread but im not sure how long it`ll take, so just thought id share some updates on my N/A 6 speed..... Bought some original OEM skirts & spats from Rogier on here (cant remember the username lol). Got them sent over from Holland. They were in red before but today picked the car back up after having the skirts & spats fitted, also took the rust out of the back wheel arch and had the laquer sorted as it was peeling on real passenger quater panel. Must say im well impressed.... will update thread with pics when theyre uploaded. Now all im waiting for is the Whifbitz front carbon splitter, and also a new set of wheels to go on, then i`ll be detailing her and getting some proper pictures up.
  21. well by the time i got back to Bristol from Blackburn i was a little tired plus it was raining so didnt do mine til a few days after, although it was only a quickie when i did..... im having a few things done over the coming weeks though so waiting til the exterior is done before giving it a good polish, i estimate 4+ hours.... i took 18 hours doing the MP GTR last summer in total, was defo worth it though

    Mintex brakes

Rob, I had Mintex pads on my GTR..... for my sins - they squeaked like mad. Not sure what type i had though and not sure if they would be the same for yours. Hopefully not.
  23. This is the main reason why i bought my N/A was to put a V8 in when i have funds..... always good hearing about peoples projects like this. Is there not a company who would do the entire conversion though?
  24. pistonbroke> cool its good to learn these things..... ive came from owning a car with the same size tyres all round so was just confused. I know staggered wheels have different size tyres but wasnt sure as to why they have a different size wall when theyre both 19". Im beginning to go with the ASR's if im honest, purely because i had the Rota's on the GTR however they do look nice on the car above.... decisions, decisions.....
  25. big spacers..... hmm maybe not a fan as i dont want to compremise handling..... the GTLMs i the pic above do look nice but what size is the tyre on the front? looks biggere than rear? (maybe 30 rear, 35 front?) thought it would be 30 all round? any reason?
