  1. bump.... think ive been a bit of a penis on this, i only checked the fuses under the bonnet, i looked briefly in the drivers footwell but couldnt see any fuse box's il look for the fusebox in the light
  2. mate, BPU 100%. its a different car. if you want slow & cheap go NA. if your going for TT, its gotta be BPU. i would say whats the point otherwise, but then the Big Single boys would say that to me just having BPU
  3. il turn the cushion over thanks for comments
  4. thought id post these to finish off the thread sorted out the colour co-ordination, removed the strut brace cleaned and primered sprayed and all together real happy with how clean it all looks under there. the PAS resivour, intake manifold, the firewall, intercooler. taken bloody ages
  5. as per title, i can hear clicking noise from the fusebox/relay when i press the horn button. nothing happens when i indicate though. hazards are working. i have had the front of the car off recently so imagine ive shorted something? have checked the normal fuses under the bonnet, font knoe how to test the other large relay/fuse types, but as i mentioned i hear a cliking so asume its working? any tips, arr the indicators and horn on same loom?
  6. ooo loving the R34 sound they cost a pritty penny though. still cant justify paying twice the value of the sup for one tho. yet
  7. mad youd think thered be loads available but none,
  8. they are expensive from toyota, £290 i just got one from whifbitz though. £230 im asuming youve done the tipex test and failed yea?
  9. £20 for a badge? il get a lickqid art one for that price. which is what il do i think
  10. check there is fluid in there first, then check that the fluid isnt frothing (if it is, there is air in the system) check all the pipes that go to pump and resivour are not split, as this will allow air in. check there is no fluid leaking from the pump itself, as they are common for the seal to go. you can buy a gasket kit from toyota for £25. you can buy the rubber pipes on ebay (under £10 per metre) * must be certain oil resistant type of rubber though if its not leaking anywhere and the fluid is good, as above, chris wilson refirbs them
  11. 2001 vauxhall corsa, for the last month, every morning i get it it, drop the handbrake, and when i pull off its asif the handbreak is sticking slightly, and when i pull off it goes "boing" then im good for the day this morning though ive dropped the handbrake, havent heard the boing, and its asif the rear brakes or hand brake is stuck on, only slightly though. if i lift the handbrake up or down there is no difference in driving, and there is also no tension when lifting up the handbrake (it lifts up easy where as before not) its got drums fitted to the rear. how can i find out if its the handbrake or the actual brakes? tries reading, says to just hit with a hammer and WD40 it up, any opinions or advice please?
  12. loving the work on this, remember seing it when you first started i almost feel sad though when they are complete, i love watching them develop! lots of hard work and lots and lots of time too. and money?
  13. i had a car that woudnt start, thaught it maybe down to old petrol (well over a year old) i removed the fuel hose and put into a bottle, just to see if it was flamable. and yes it was (car had injector problem in the end nothing to do with petrol) i would just use the petrol up in there in the form of light journeys, dont give the car the beans til theres fresh stuff in there.
  14. if you dont hear the fuel pump prime thats gona be your issue, or one of the isses, so sort that first before moving one
  15. any connectors come undone?
  16. does anyone know what the cost of one is from toyota? just called them and the parts dept is shut today (sunday) just working out how it compares to the whifbitz one (£219) EDIT: called toyota, £290. will be going for the whifbitz
  17. this applies to all cars, not just supras, and yes it is very annoying sound

    2jz differances

there are a few people on here who have aristo 2JZ powered Supras, there are a few differences as previously posted, if you look at hodge on here, i think his is an aristo engine. think looms and ECU differ slightly too
  20. car looks awsome, white looks sooo clean, lots of work gone into that
