Even with or without CATs mines still way off. I've told them to get a new O2 sensor and see what happens. That'll be its first replacement since new, so its done ok! (fingers crossed)

Do you think the problem is limited to either a knackered/clogged CAT or duff Oxygen Sensor (89465-19725 J-spec TT VVTi)? I'll let them boot it up and down the road a bit other wise try a new Oxygen Sensor?

Ok, ta. Its been running for 45 minutes trying to get it hot and still no good. Being that far out do you reckon them giving it some will make enough difference?

Thanks Ric. Why shouldn't it have a CAT test? I was assuming its Oxygen sensor, but didn't know if there was a way of easily telling if that was the problem? Hi Scooter, yes just been lurking.... Its sunny now:D

I haven't used the Supe for a few months now (as we had our drive done which took months due to a couple of problems but anyway), but I did let the car idle 15 minutes now and then. Just took it for an MOT and they've just called to say its failing he emissions which its always passed no problems whatsoever. Its fully de-catted but they put no.2 back on for the test. I haven't got the first CAT. Its CO reading is 7.8% and I need 0.3% so its way off. Any thoughts of a sudden failure please? Car starts instantly and runs great still. Thank you.

I’ve got over 24,000 Avios (air miles in old money) points to use up. Looking at an Ariel Atom experience for 17,000 points (point definitely don’t much prizes here!!!) Not sure of the cicuits, but the locations are: Three Sisters, Lancashire; Rockingham, Northamptonshire; Middlesbrough, Tyne & Wear; Elvington, Yorkshire; Kenilworth, Warwickshire; Elvington, Yorkshire; Chertsey, Surrey; Kirkby Mallory, Leicestershire. The activity lasts approximately 1 - 2 hours with approximately 5-10 minutes driving time. A messily amount of time, especially for 17,000 points!!

Vredestein dont the sizes for me. I found some Pirelli. Rosso front Coras rears but the Rosso read awful. Toyos seem best i think via mail order and get them fitted.

I’m in need of some new tyres but only seem to be able to source 3 different makes. Falken FK-452 £133ea Toyo Proxes T1-Sport £186ea Michelin Pilot Sport 2 £249ea Front: 235/45/17 Rear: 265/40/17 I’ve got the 452’s at the moment and had them before and been ok, but this set has lost all its grip and I’ve still a few mm left. I’ve had it twitch a few times and the traction light flicks on quite easily. I had the 1st generation of the Toyos proxes T1 which were good but picked up every stone, albeit the tread (and probably the compound now) has totally changed. The Pilots just seem average in performance and don’t seem to justify the extra £260 for the set. Has anyone had the Toyo’s or know of any others please? Many thanks Stephen
