My thought in reading Mikey's posts are that he did the 12v mod to supply a constant feed but he never said how he resolved it. I have just PM'd him but I know he does not come on here much now

previous owner of my car (J Spec TT BPU) tried a UK pump looking at hi previous posts and had the same issues as you. Ok on idle then dies... He iirc gave up on the UK pump... I will see if I can fing the thread
