  1. Monies received as per pm, thank you to the pair of you!
  2. ^^^^ this^^^^ It is fronting if she is the main (even if only weekends) driver but only a named driver on the policy, hence the mother reference in my post.
  3. Search for error codes (hint; click blue) and do the paperclip test.
  4. Looks like the person who fitted those coil packs also did mine before I had it, oh, and I've seen other garages, not mentioning any names, silicone them in too, took another, far more reputable garage on here to sort that out!
  5. I think it was Direct Line that were doing a policy for named drivers that would increase NCB's, but, it is a very risky business. Every time I've been stopped (last time I had already stopped, it was in sainsbury's car park while buying fags) the first thing they ask is if the car is insured in your name. If it gets to the police, or insurance company that you aren't just a named driver, but the main driver, your insurance will be invalid and the popo will try and bum you! I'm over 30 now, and still have my mother as a named driver, drops the premium on mine considerably still.
  6. Not heavily tinted, just enough for them to appear dark, not black.
  7. Well I would hope that people more experienced than I would throw there tuppence in. But people seem more occupied elsewhere.
  8. Marc, not even I would dare fiddle with your car.
  9. Got one here mate, £35 and it will arrive at your door.
  10. As it's mainly going to be used on the track, would the diff or gearbox be better than the PAS? does the PAS fluid get that warm it becomes detrimental? If only I could run the brake fluid through it, I'd save a load on upgrading them!
  11. Closest the app has to gunmetal, although I think it got carries away. I need to go to bed.
  12. Best I could do on my HTC. Again, no Blackie, but I think I captured the mood of the original photographer
  13. Is there any point of fitting my auto TT rad into the NA manual track toy? What would be the best thing to run through the secondary cooler? PAS? Gearbox? If it's the gearbox, if anything at all, what would I need, thermostat/control wise to operate it? H'n'S Adam
  14. Smoked/tinted rear prefacelift rear light clusters, with bulbs and looms. These are in great condition. No marks or swirls. Coming off to fit my clear ones. £60 delivered I'll get better photos once their off the car
  15. Not going for looks Josh, although I quite like how these sit, I'm using this as my own little track project. As I've already got these wheels, and there so light, it would be cheaper to get the rears stretched out an inch or two. It's all been done on here before, and most probably a lot better, so I'm not starting my own thread, but if you have a look on farcebook I've started a little page on there with some photos and updates as I go along.
  16. There are quite a few members down in Devon, I'm sure if your prepared to buy a maccy's or two one of them will take you out to see how you get on in one
  17. As above for my little project, what've you got? Adam
  18. After 1 bucket seat and rails for drivers side, preferably non reclining, any colour. Can pick up from the midlands or arrange transport. Adam
  19. I think these are Enkei Circlac's, very light. Does anyone know of anywhere who can widen them, they are 9" all round? Can't find any details of Big Jim Racing anymore. Adam
