  1. Perhaps if it were staying in the Black Sup, but this is going in the Quicksilver, so something a little different is required .
  2. Right chaps, I think I am going to go for the re-trimmed TRD. Thanks to all who posted
  3. Its a shame your car is not White, Carbon products stand out a lot more on a white car, Abz will tell you
  4. Now this would be interesting to see. listen up Clay
  5. You sure you want to change a "MINT" OEM wheel like this Clay, its barely used

    strut brace!!!

My two favourites have to be the TRD Strut Brace and the Carbing. TRD = Nice heavy solid construction and looks nice. Carbing = Probably the best Strut brace available, looks awesome in all Ally, Light yet strong and has the added advantage of a Brake Master Cylinder support, which makes a reassuring change to the peddle feel. You could start a Wanted thread on here, or have a look in the trader section bud You will get access to the Classifieds section once you have purchased a full membership, which costs a measly £10
  7. Welcome to the Club, sounds like a nice example you have yourself.
  8. That should read, I have been re-hired
  9. To be fair Clay, you have helped a lot with the bolts etc, you can have first refusal mate
  10. Hi people, Just wondering if anyone is thinking of attending this meet, it would be good to go and pay homage to the Supra at this meet. midlands is not that far a destination (well compared to London etc). I am seriously considering going for this, but obviously it would be a better journey with fellow Supra owners. Have a wee think peeps, http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?294694-20th-Anniversary-Meet-at-Heritage-Motor-Centre-26th-August Feel free to express your interest or disinterest
  11. Guess I should have asked, which one would be most challenging for Liam
  12. Just in case the OP is not aware, the changing of Turbo's means that none of the factory set-up (twin turbo) will be used, this mean basically new manifold, new twins, custom intercooler pipework, ECU, Injectors, etc etc. You can upgrade the current turbos to a hybrid set-up which would use the factory set-up, but which would see the turbines replaced from Ceramic Blades to Steel internals, thus allowing for more boost to be utilised. Longevity is a different matter depending on how hard you run these Hybrids.
  13. I Wheely couldn't help my self Abzy, although my fleet reduction means that this along with other things will be available (House Deposit). You will be the first to know about the wheel Thanks for the opinions Guys, keep them coming please

    Hi

Hi and Welcome John, there is a wealth of knowledge on the forum either through the search function or by asking the members. Nice looking example you have there
  15. I agree with you Gaz, the airbag does need to stay for those purposes, I suppose I knew this subconsciously whilst purchasing both airbag models, good info
  16. This is the sort I feedback I was hoping for Chaps. Thanks mate, really handy to know what other have experienced.
  17. Basically I'm looking for some help with a decision on which steering wheel to run in my Project Supra. The opinion that I have to play with from the wheels I own are as follow. Option 1: OEM Carbon Fibre wheel (airbag) Option 2: Red Genuine TRD Steering wheel (airbag) Option 3: Same as option two but retrimmed to match the rest of the interior. Option 4: Momo Gotham leather and alcantara (non airbag, removable) wheel. The car will be OEM in looks with the emphasis on weight saving and hopefully some track action, but mainly used as my ideal street machine. Colour is Quicksilver is this helps. Regards

    Howdy

Hi and Welcome to the club.
  19. If your Auto Box/TQ are finally on the way out then this will definitely be tripping the warning lights, the load on the engine whilst the broken box is in use and pushed (above 4000rpm) will also be increased. Have you noticed a drop in performance at all, and perhaps the Autobox temps are climbing and tripping a sensor.
  20. Sounds like the right symptoms to me, may cost a fair bit to refurb the box. Maybe drop CW a line?
  21. Sooooooo....... what was wrong with your last Sup then
  22. Hi everyone, could you guys give me some input as to the price I should be looking for a complete ABS Set-up? I have no idea what these go for.
  23. Just leaving, still no guarantee's
