It all depends on the Calipers: J-spec TT = 2pot calipers front / 1 pot calipers on the rear N/A's = 2pot calipers front / 1 pot calipers on the rear So the brakes on these examples can be swapped around from TT to N/A. UK Spec = 4pot calipers front / 2pot calipers on the rear J-spec factory option brakes = 4pot calipers front / 2pot calipers on the rear How ever some J-spec models were fitted with the factory option 4 pot calipers on the front and 2pot calipers on the rear. These brakes are the same as the ones found on the Uk spec Supra and therefor the Disc's & Pads from the smaller calipers will be unsuitable. Hope this helps a little

I dont think they are of the same Amperage, i recall the auto-tt one being 100amps and the manual being 90amps or i would have just bought a Manual one. I may have one people. Does anyone know how much my unit would cost to re-furb too as an option. Thanks

I bought this on behalf of my brother-in-law and i must say a big Thanks to Bignum for being so patient whilst i did my check on it. The car itself was in amazingly good condition and it was as described in the advert, i was really pleased with the car so instructed my brother-in-law to go ahead and we eventually bought it for £650, which i reckon is a real bargain. Sorry my mistake, that was supposed to read "there are no warning lights coming on" . I will put up a video of the said noise. I called Mr-T this morning and they have me booked in for Tuesday, the chap at the Workshop listened to the sound via my phones loud speaker and said it was pretty hard to tell, but it might be an injector malfunction. I shall get a video up for you guys soon as.

Hi people, I am looking after my sisters 1.8vvti avensis (07 plate) while she is on holiday, i am fully insured to drive her car as we share it from time to time. I was driveing it tonight and decided to give it some bean to see if i could spot when the VVTI kicked in and sure enough it did but then i heard a whiney noise so stopped accelerating. I pulled the car into the drive and even on idle its making a ticking noise. I have checked the oil leveland everything is fine there and i have had warning lights come on the dash. My sister car is still under Warranty so i will be taking it into Mr T but just wondered if any of you guys have any idea what it could be. The engine has 22,000 on the clock so still early days for anything major i reckon. Any help would be appreciated. Brads
