    I've got mine pre-ordered at Morrisons. Its 5mins down the road so i'll just stroll in, pick it up and be back on my sofa within 10mins. Stuff queuing up for 3hrs to get it at midnight.

    I disagree, it puts me off more than it appeals. Your never going to get it for that price, so why bother stating it. I find it a bit underhanded if they put it in big bold red text, then little +Vat in black underneath. They do that on some of the Classic Mini websites i've been visiting.

    Anyone else get annoyed when your looking at websites/parts for sale and they have a big bold cheap price next to them that gets you all excited, then you read the +20% tax, which you then work out and it doesnt seem cheap anymore? Its like the part from the Brucey game where he says "Lets have a look at what you could have won !!", talk about rubbing it in your face. I cant see why they cant just put the price you have to pay and be done with it. Maybe i'm just tight, i dunno.

    I'm somewhere near Supraland on this one, if a car has been stood for 3 years, i'd want alot more done than just an oil/filter change. Maybe not 2.5k worth of work, but certainly well over £1000 with an engine refresh, caliper refurb all the oils and belts etc. Documented as well. If i was too buy the car as it is, which is basically a fixer upper regardless of the condition of the paintwork, i'd want to be paying fixer upper price, at 5k it would hardly be a bargain with the work that needs doing too it.

    OEM shifters are mega money, and pretty rare as no-one wants to get rid of them. I have one on mine in mint but i'm keeping it muhahaha.
