  1. Looking good so far. Something I have always wanted to do, spray a whole car a fresh. Super job satisfaction
  2. Epic achievement. Love keeping up with developments with the team. Top job indeed.
  3. Just seen this. Sounds excellent, especially the idea of fitting a more modern box with more gears. I assume the kick down on the vvti into third at speed would also be solved. I was thinking of adding an aftermarket steering wheel to extend the hub being tall, and was wondering about issues with the vvti tip steering gear change controls. I was looing at the flip up wheels for access, but have never seen one fitted. Great to know options are now available - top work indeed. Certainly watching with interest.
  4. Cricky that's an awful crash. I am sure you already feel like every day is a bonus, as you easily could have been killed. I use to crave more power and speed myself, although now I just love the car and cruising around at the speed limit. Much more enjoyable, cheaper to run, and less chance of getting into any trouble too. The car is a classic now, and nothing wrong with treating it like one. I certainly hope you manage to step out of the circle you seem to be stuck in at present, a change in direction can often work wonders. All the best buddy
  5. Congratulations on completing the work over. Sounds lovely, enjoy it as its been a long road.
  6. They look really nice. Great colour combination certainly different.
  7. Thanks Nic, Just searched it out, and see you have crossed this path before Cheers
  8. Cricky that little lot wouldn't have been cheap. I hope you manage to get everything sorted.
  9. Possibly. Just looking at the picture I would expect to see some scoring, gouge marks where the contact was made. Photos can be deceptive, but I can't see any major marks. I hope you manage to get it sorted, you have had some terrible luck of late with the car.
  10. Did you ever get to see the turbo vanes, before they were rebuilt by the company? As Chris suggests something must have caused that damage, unless of course it was put back together like it in the first place. Just a nasty thought.
  11. Congratulations on a tidy purchase. I think these could become the most sensible option as a daily. Often as new as possible, newer style engine, often lower mileage, got be a win win. Hope you enjoy it.
  12. Awesome. Be superb to see what you think of the twins versus the single. Look forward to following your updates. Best of luck with the build.
  13. Ha ha I like the way you have positioned yourself. Very clever indeed
  14. I think it looks excellent that. Great turn around indeed, its secretely yours really isn't it
  15. Seen this before, but really good to watch it again. Certainly so easy to get onto a slippery slide, not so easy to stop once you are heading down it. Watching the video I quiet fancy either of my old cars back, loving the white super clean. The smile on that guys face, just shows how much enjoyment the right car can bring.
  16. Congratulations nice car that one. You don't see many oem silver Supra's that have a certain air about them. I am sure you will have it back to super condition in no time.
  17. Awesomeness. Progress shall be swift, great to see it all coming together.
  18. Feel the pain, been there twice. You can always buy another one, most of the fun is in the hunt anyway. I think people with a nice car, dont really appreciate it until its gone.
  19. Yeah I see its just sold. Someone just saved me some money ha. Would have expected it to be a very nice example for that money.
  20. Cheers guys, I didn't post the link as didn't want to be seen as boosting advertising. If you could check it out that would be great.
  21. Hi all, Been looking at the red aero on ebay, looks rather nice. Just wondering if anyone knows the car, or perhaps its history. Cheers
  22. I flocked one of my whole interiors on one of my old supra's. What a waste of time, money and mega effort. Never ever again.
  23. Thought it was one that passed through the for sales section not long ago. Looks a nice car, good luck on the hunt for the new one.
  24. Really nice look against the silver. Loving the number plate too. Looked at a set of these for my e91 tourer recently, bloodly expensive wheels.
  25. Great to see you making real progress with this build. I would have thought that the reason why it has flanges instead of a weld is to prevent cracking. The flanges may well suck up any imbalance better well be more resistant, a weld will crack I would of thought. Like you say nightmare to get too, if it does develop a crack.
