  1. Yeah i would suggest tracing through as much wiring as you can from the fusebox upto the dash, and around the dash area/stereo to make sure its all flowing freely. I know theres a lot, but you could easily find a trapped wire.
  2. Any pics of the Konig seats Keron? Cheers.
  3. Ok cheers, It just occured to me that they dont recline, and im currently using my rear seats lol, Ill also have a think about that, possibly stripping the rear seats out and putting the Veilsides in. Still interested though.
  4. Im liking the Veilside seats, Ill be considering them if my subs sell on Sunday. Just to confirm, they will fit straight into a pre-facelift with electric drivers seat? Cheers, Ash.
  5. Cheers Jackso11, Ill be planning this for spring/summer 2010.
  6. Bing Bong, Bid Along!! ...... please http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vibe-CBR-Evolution-12-Twin-Active-Subwoofer-Enclosure_W0QQitemZ320459082369QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Audio_TV_Electronics_In_Car_Entertainment_GPS_Car_Speakers_PP?hash=item4a9cd98a81
  7. To fit a carpet lol, how hard can it be.
  8. Yeah i suppose so, but the carpet i have in is worn down, and has holes in it under the pedals. I priced it up for thick padded underlay, and luxury black carpet for about £80, and me fitting it.
  9. jackso11: Im thinking of changing the carpet in my car. Did you order the new carpet on a roll, or did you have it made up somewhere? Cheers.
  10. I also just need a button blank, if they are still fitted, and if you split or whatever. cheers, Ash.
  11. Yeah i sorted it myself cheers. Thanks for the link anyway.

    Noisey Clutch

Same. Very annoying, tried rubricating various parts, but to no avail.
  13. So it could still be a fault code 12. My car drives perfectly, and i get a "blip" pause "blip" "blip" when i run the fault code check.
  14. Yeah brake fluid level is fine. Bure surely if i get the fault code 12, it cant be the brake fluid anyway?
  15. Right, i have a fault code 12. Im assuming the table of fault codes on this forum are the same for the n.a and tt? Been searching and the last time somebody had this was 2005. Apparently its the crankshaft or camshaft position sensor signal not being received by the ECU for 2 or more seconds. Also noticed the red light coming on more and more now, even under normal acceleration.
  16. wow, I daren't start another thread now Cheers for all the correct answers too guys.
  17. Oh right, that makes sense now. Cheers Homer
  18. Homer, i understand about the cold air source, i just wandered why the intake wasnt directly behind the air scoops in the front bumper, rather than being covered up by the headlamp. But its all good, im not going to be doing anything about it i dont think, just a question i had in my mind. Cheers.
  19. Yeah suppose so, i wasnt losing any sleep over it, just wanted to get some comments.
  20. The light goes off as soon as i take my foot off the accelerator pedal, and then doesnt come on anymore, until i give it some again. The easiest thing i can do is check faults, and then ill start with the clocks.
  21. Yeah i have had my clocks out recently, well, it was about 1 week ago. I was soldering blue LED's into the indicator/hazard bulb holders on the dial cluster. But i must of done about 250 miles since then, with enough hard acceleration to notice the light coming on. Ill investigate the clocks if the fault code reading doesnt work. Cheers.
  22. When i took my headlamp units out the other week, i was looking at the front of the airbox, and noticed that the air intake pipe thing which goes into the stock airbox is in a place where i didnt think it would of been. I just assumed that the pipe would start at the airbox, and then extend downwards and have its 'intake' end sitting just behind the front bumper air scoop bits. But instead, the intake part is just sat underneath the headlight, surely the engine would get a better supply of air, if the pipe was exposed to the air directly, like i said, sat just behind a scoop in the front bumper. I have seen threads on cold air feeds for aftermarket air filters, but just wandered if anybody has tried setting up the stock airbox to a direct air supply/feed thing. A flexible pipe should do the job. Hope you all understand what i mean lol. Cheers, Ash.
