When i took my headlamp units out the other week, i was looking at the front of the airbox, and noticed that the air intake pipe thing which goes into the stock airbox is in a place where i didnt think it would of been.
I just assumed that the pipe would start at the airbox, and then extend downwards and have its 'intake' end sitting just behind the front bumper air scoop bits.
But instead, the intake part is just sat underneath the headlight, surely the engine would get a better supply of air, if the pipe was exposed to the air directly, like i said, sat just behind a scoop in the front bumper.
I have seen threads on cold air feeds for aftermarket air filters, but just wandered if anybody has tried setting up the stock airbox to a direct air supply/feed thing. A flexible pipe should do the job.
Hope you all understand what i mean lol.
Cheers,
Ash.
