  4. its a lot of money, i wouldnt pay it but how many black uk manuals would have been made or are still about 20, 30? when most where autos like mine:( i should put a 6 speed in mine and ask 10k for it and i would still be up money counting what i paid for the car and what the conversion would cost! Is there any truth in that j. specs dont get the same amount of weather seal underneath as the uk cars?
  5. i know it not paint but did anyone see the gtr on the cover of redline done in the chrome wrap?

  11. a real bit of motorsport history. About 10-15 years ago a stupid b@@@@@@ in the town got hold of a ex works mk1 shell. needed a bit of tiding, bubble arched had the twin pod dash same as that one but you could have made a real nice car out of it but he went and made a stock car out of it the stupid c@@t!
  12. :blink:did you not buy kerons siena generation II?
  13. thats alright if its a manual. The auto alot harder to do as you cant lock up the engine with the gearboxs
  14. just seen the update. Have to get the finger out now and start getting the bits ready to put on the car;)
  15. done. bloody money grabbing goverment! Take it of the bankers.
  16. I think the engine blow up was the best thing that could have happened to that piece of crap:d
  17. That is true, but Ken had a bit of input there aswell. Ken and Russ have been friends for many years and when Russ was just starting out to do the shows he wanted Ken to go with him. Ken was the first person to make a mini special and if you check the spec of Pauls mini special it has a Ken Irwin 2 speed gearbox
  18. If anyone has been to see topgear live they will know what i'm talking about His name is Ken Irwin and he is a autotest legend, He is a multiple ulster, irish and british autotest champion and he is nearly 70 and is still one of the best. And he lives and has a small garage in my town. If you dont know what autotesting a video showing what you do. Paul swift is someone who Ken has taught as well as long time ago teaching one Jimmy Mccrea,s eldest son on car control. (Collin) I know Ken well and have seen him testing cars that he has built and prepaired and i could only dream of have as good car control. But we heard shocking news going round this small town during the week that Ken took a heart attack in south africa with Top Gear. So i would like to wish Ken "speedy" Irwin get well soon.
  19. well done mate nice video and good tune
  20. what i have read the oem head gasket is as good as any
