well my 16" wheels will be going on this winter, My N/A 3.0 ltr soarer managed no problem this year never got stuck and live on a steep hill, 7 mph light on the gas, with 265 tyres on the back. managed better than my mums focus cmax on the same hill. hopefully not much difference this year, scariest thing though with auto box is when in drive and foot brake on rear wheels just push you on regardless and fronts sale over the ice so,on drive and off drive a bit a bit at a time

got a couple of guys to phone back on monday one place was showing goodyears but no price, phoned the main man and was going to check it out for me will find out on monday

thanks guys saw camskill before, may get them from here if local guys have no luck my tyres not got anything that size. Not finding anything when searching for dunlops though??

Need to get some tyres for my stock 16" wheels the size is 245/50/16 only Kumho seem to do this size and most tyre retailers in the area say they are having difficulty sorcing this size waiting on a call from one of the independants local who is waitng to here from Kumho to see if they have any. If I can't get them whats the better choice to go down profile from 50 to 45, or can the wheels take a wider more common size advice please

At least now a ntional apprentaceship scheme has been brought in (labour) Thatcher scrapped the national minimum wage people working for 75p an hour At least now minimum wage brought in (Labour), I wonder if the rise in this later in the year will go ahead now be interesting to find out. Thatcher decamated the industrial base of the UK stating Britain should become a service economy (ie banking) look where that got us at least if we had manufacturing as well the banking crisis may not have affected us as bad as it did, all eggs in one basket come to mind Interest rates of 15% my fixed of 5.19 ended a few months ago came down to 2.5% now saving £230 a month, be interesting to see how high it goes now. Lib dems finished as far as I see it as any voter I know who voted for them is disgusted and will never vote for them again. My tuppence worth any way:p
