  1. thanks for that guys, will yeah back seat measurement pick grandson up from nursery once or twice a week, so need to make sure he has leg room. Got more pics sent to me today, looks tidy, but will way things up, and discuss with the wife.
  2. cheers general condition, any scratches or mismatched paint, there were scratches on the quarter panel and front bumper that have been repaired, I was told and should be 22000miles so does interior match with mileage. Ta I know Supra still my preferred choice I think, but ltd room in the boot and the fact I have to pick up my grandson from nursery once a week, and not sure of rear seat room for him and his chair. I posted a thread a while back and have been informed not a problem, but still not sure and since none for sale in my area to go see a bit of a pain, nearest dealer is 50 mins drive away but getting the time to travel and see it for 2 and a half hours is ltd. another favour could you measure the seat base front to back and how much travel with the passenger seat forward there is and then I can compare my soarer:d I know pushing it but appreciated. Dave Thanks for that Budd
  3. Thanks Devan yeah Ben sounded OK when I spoke to him today, could you take a quick look at the silver celica GT4 he has, and getting back to me since you are going over there. mobile is 07919405353 would be appreciated. I am swithering between sticking with getting supra for about £10k or they have the gt4 for just over £5k save the money and start paying more onto the mortgage:bang: less of a loan if you get my drift
  4. anyone used them got my eye on something http://dealerservices.autotrader.co.uk/GetDealer.do?did=19952&pageid=2 thanks
  5. cheers been hovering about a bit, got money now so decision time, just missed out in seeing one a few dfays ago an SZ just to see rear seating area, but will keep looking about and see if anything local comes up and will check it out, may be sticking with soarers but time for a change after 8 years I think
  6. Hi all further to my post from a few months back http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=170553&highlight=mobius Since there is no supras about my local for sale would anyone know the seat base length and distance the front seat travels I occasionally have to pick up a 4 year old from nursery and though have been advised previously that there is no problem but just to alleviate my fears again (could not take the nagging if I get it wrong)
  7. Used Hypertech a few years back with my V8 Soarer, Duncan knows his stuff, and proudly displays his Toyota mechanic of the year award in the office. He used to work for Toyota/Lexus before setting up Hypertech, don't use him now purely because my 3.0ltr soarer easier to work on and local mechanic cheaper and a mile from my house.
  8. ITs good to know felt a little bit awkward asking the question but looking good the important thing is the wife has said its OK:to get one as its my car (been a good boy of late). so positive to hear about the how lold some of the kids are in the back.
  9. thanks for quick replies guys, and no sarky replies. The Soarer rear seat has bucket dip in the middle as well and seat fits no problem, its just that the legth of the soarer seat is a bit longer than the Supra thats what got me wondering. Thanks, so may well be getting a Supra at some point in the future. Just need to decide what to go for, like I say I may stick with the Soarer had 2 a V8 for 2 years and the 3.0 ltr I have, coming up 5 years, and even contemplated a Stagea (just to be different). So will keep checking in and see whats about when its time to change and make my mind up over the next few months Thanks again Dave:)
  10. Hi folks first post so be gentle, currently own a 1994 3.0 Soarer and looking possibly to change to a Mk4 Supra within the next 6 -9 months. I know before you say anything that the rear seating space is non existant, but I occasionally have to pick up my grandson, (2 and a half) and was wondering if any one has ever fitted a child seat in the back of a Supra . This will be the decider of sticking with the Soarer (uprade to a post 96 turbo) or go for a Supra, we normally use the wifes car but sometimes I need to collect him when she is at work, with her car. Thanks Dave
