  1. cheers mate also where do you measure to find out what size wastegate it is because the springs are for diff sizes
  2. How do i tell what strength the wastegate spring is is it a case of just buying one you know the strength of or is there a way to tell? The one i have is a greeny brown colour i presume its an xs one but not sure im wanting one around 7psi any ideas
  3. or if need be bad filter but why not just buy the hks foam of ebay think i paid around £20 and custom fab a smaller filter housing than the origional filter has
  4. As said before 4 runer dizzy cap should sort your prob go onto club na-t should be easy to find one to look at
  5. well i researched a different way of doing it that im looking into where the return goes to the other side of the block where the oil level sensor goes into in the states they call it a drilless kit Its only a maybe but to be honest if it doesnt work ill just put the sensor back in as i bought a spare one of a member anyway trial and error no doubt lol
  6. The stainless feed line i got only looks a small diameter will this be fine ? what size does the return line need to be around -8an is that right ? Does anybody ever use a strong rubber hose for the return or is it allways stainless lines used ? think i will just test this turbo like you said just to see how it goes
  7. Thanks m life allways good to have your input that turbo sounds good but a little out of my range im trying to do this as cheap as poss to see what can be done with limited funds
  8. cheers the turbo i have has the t3 5 bolt rear with 2.5" v band so i will have to change this to one with a 3" but i am deffo wanting to go down the internal wastegate route Ill just have to chance how this random turbo is for the first startup lol Hey seen as though your like a god on here Jamie P what turbo would you use just to keep it simple ? i seen in an earlier thread you wanted to go evo turbo but then never botherd with the project as i said before it wont go above 400bhp ive not got the hang of turbos yet im still researching

  10. the manifold i have has 2 diff flange bolt patterns maybe t3/t4 i was just thinking if i could fide a nice turbo of a standard car it would last longer

No xs power branding, manifold is exotic speed the guy that sold it to me said he paid a £1000+ but crashed his car so was just selling it to get rid, all parts are brand new I tried to name the title so if people searched in future they might find some info any chance you know any good stock turbos you could use if any?
  12. Hey i have most of my kit collected now but fear the turbo i got with the kit is a poor one i only paid £380 for the kit so pritty much pennies but im looking to change the turbo. I think the manifold i have is a t3/t4 manifold as it has 8 holes instead of 4 if that makes sence. Im just wondering are there any standard car turbos that would be a good choice to pick up that will do the job im looking for something that would be direct fit if not it will have to be aftermarket The power will not be going above 400bhp i saw jamie p posted saying an evo turbo would be good but then later homer said it was a diff flange just any help would be good My turbo and manifold as now
  13. My cigarette lighter has not worked since owning my car, my fuse in the kick panel is fine but ive read theres an inline fuse on the cig lighter Has any one got a pic of it and maybe some info of how to bypass it i need my sat nav working as im of to lossiemouth next week

  17. Mine just got scraped in the cinema carpark, parked on my own next to no one, come out of there still no one next to me but big scrapes now on my front bumper

  21. Hey nos, your car looks great bar the front bumper imho why not instead of an aftermarket bumper get a stock bumper and go for a bomex lip i think it would look great Along the lines of this bud
  22. Dont tt springs make the car sit high??? as the engine in the n\a isnt as heavy anyway think ive got sum kyb shocks with n\a springs (fronts) if you dont take the others ill dig them out ive got the rear springs to but shocks are done for

  24. well to be fair i agree but the last tyre i got cheap was a dunlop pretty much brand new of a member on here been very happy with that
  25. After buying one of ebay that is total garbage i need another one cheap would be good as im off to scotland soon thanks
