They are lighter than a Supra, use the SR20DET engine thus quite reliable. The SR20 engine will go FOREVER unless you upgrade the performance without the correct supporting mods, there are alot of people that cut corners. If you were getting one I would get a *stock* S15 with a 6speed gearbox, and at standard boost it will last you a very long time.
