  1. So dyno day is done.8 As excepted we could not go for full power due to some minor problem. But we where able to get 925hp at the wheels before we called it a day. To do list - A wastegate did not close correct - Clutch stopt working( started suddenly to work again) - Cooling pipe did say hello to the cam gears. Needs new screws and weld the pipe - Remove wastegate springs. Have to high basic boost level. - strange leakage of cooling fluid Next time we will go for 2.3 bar boost pressure The last dyno at 2,1bar
  2. Thanks At least the diff did not lock anything. Then it will be really dangerous
  3. Hopeful something like that. Aiming for 900bhp. It will be 31/3 . I think I will got a to do list from the tuner and I would need to go back once again. Something stupid like a suddenly boost leakage or something else will probably mess it up.. I will dyno at http://www.maxxtuning.eu
  4. Yes it is jamie's old Precision GT42-7675R. Ii is going to be pushed to the maximum.
  5. properly it will never be finish.... but it is ready for tuning and dyno time next Tuesday This is the status of the engine Cage installation on the inside
  6. http://www.framautolitedragway.co.nz/files/MDI_Track_Rulebook_30SEP15.pdf page 19. At least we have the same regulation in sweden, For you guys in don't know
  7. Sorry for the late reply! I tried to read all rules regarding this and my conclusion is that the factory holes on the sides will not fulfil the requirement that the belts should be in an angle of 45 degrees backwards.
  8. I am under way to install my 4 point harness. The rear fixing point will be in my cage but unfortunately the plan to was attach the lap belts to the original seat belt mounting holes on the floor with a couple of 7/16" UNF eyebolts was not possible at the center consol side, only to the door side. How did you guys do it for the lap belts?

Maxxecu is a really great ecu. It is very popular over here and properly the best ecu with all the modules
  10. Opps sorry if it is a repost....

    Hello from SWEDEN

Welcome to the best supra forum by far! Nice that we are now at least 2 persons from kalmar here
  14. My timing belt doesn't center over the timing pulleys. The belt are around 4.3mm from the out side of the timing pulleys. I can't see any root cause to the problem . How center are your belt's?
  15. Normly you set the cams to tdc and then it should be okej. But due to my BC280 cams as you say some valves till always be open. Therefore i am thinking of remove my cams to close the valves. You should pressure test the hole system including intake manifold. There will be at least minor leaks in the intake hose couplings..
  16. Let's discuss the procedure how you do your pressure test of your intake system I plug the intake of the turbo and then fill air from the smaller connection on the turbo. I am thinking of running 2.5 bar so I want to go to bar for the pressure test. Unfortunately I got a lot of pressure from my crankcase ventilation. I think this is due to my BC280 cams? I think I need to remove them? I also want to point out that my engine is totally new built. Maybe I should brake it in first to get the piston rings not to leak so much? I can here is the pressure getting out under the engine.... I am now a little afraid that I have blow some seals. I took the time it takes to go from 1.5bar to 0.5bar. It was around a minute and it does not help to plug the crankcase vent. It still was the same time for drainage. How much leakage is ok?
  17. Sorry. it should have been which throttle body do you other guys use
  18. Which manifolds are you guys using for some high power supras?
  19. it really suxs... I saw that Geo on reel street performance had also a leaking throttle and change to a k-tune throttle. I think I will go in the same direction
  20. When I bought my car it was fitted with a wilson manifold trottle body. Due to that it had severel big leaks I bought another one from wilson after they wrote me an email and promise that it would just have small leakes that will not effect performence... But watch this! It is a storm! How the hell should I fix? I have only 2 weeks before tuning the car.. and the tuner will of course not allow this leak..
  21. That was really messed up! Glad it came to live again
  22. No worries mate. I have inspected all welds with a snake camera and they are okey. Maybe I will post a short movie "a travel inside a supra 1000hp manifold"
  23. Subscribed! Awsome build mate! Keep the good work going!
