  1. Pic of the strut brace my good man!
  2. Its not for me cos Im lazy, its mainly to clear up the short posts with 1 answer from newer members (myself included). Not everyone has to read it and a few more knowledgeable people could check it regularly.
  3. What does everyone think about having a sticky thread where people post quick questions to things that could possibly take aaages to search for, or if people need a dead quick answer in the middle of a working day or something? Might negate the search button but it would also clear up a lot of threads. I for one post up a fair few "quick question" type threads and find myself holding back. And yes I do use the search button. Ill start - If I put the Recaro's out of an Evo3 (or whatever model is the same as the Supra) am I right in thinking they wouldnt tilt forward to let people in the back?
  4. Finally! I can contribute something to this forum!!!
  5. JamieP - Not overly sure on the fitments but theres the lifeline ones http://www.lifeline-fire.co.uk/quickrelease/steeringboss.asp And the cheapy Ebay weld-on ones http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/QUICK-RELEASE-STEERING-HUB-BOSS-AUTOGRASS-STOCKCAR_W0QQitemZ160307817115QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item160307817115&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1301|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318 and http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/QUICK-RELEASE-STEERING-BOSS-MOMO-OMP-RALLY-AUTOGRASS_W0QQitemZ160307813902QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item160307813902&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1301|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318 But they would probably need an adaptor making up to pair up with the steering wheel (the 3 hole one almost definitely), but if you're handy that would take about a minute. Im pretty sure insurance companies dont like these though... So dont be thinking itd give you money off. PeteTT - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120351834451&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT&viewitem= Dunno if it'll fit yet though! Exciting or what!?
  6. Gutted when I heard about this. RIP
  7. Yeah but the ones that are one piece are like over £200 and I think its a little much to pay for what is to me, simply a toy and a novelty. I understand they have a serious use but not for me. They do make the steering wheel sit too close, thats why I bought a short boss from the states, its only 1.5" as opposed to the 4" standard ones. Should be pretty similar to stock. If not, theres a slimline snap off boss and Ill just make up a spacer if needs be. Its not cheap (getting bent over on postage and import costs) but its going to be 100% exactly how I want it, and thats what matters!!!
  8. Ace. Think the name will catch on?
  9. I think it may be but dont quote me on that. That said I have just bought a boss that says "Toyota-all" in the fitment section.
  10. Thats exactly what I was going to do. Just wanted to help a fellow forum member out though Got my short boss on the way from the States (1.5" as opposed to about 4") so I should be in a near stock position after I get the QR thing on. Just as a matter of conversation, as Ive made my mind up, but which would you recommend? The ones with the weld on hex collar, or the ones that look like 2 ashtrays with the sliding collar? The latter is the type Ive decided on. Obviously Id love a lifeline one or ideally the Signal Auto quick release boss but prices are prices and I dont have a lot of cash to throw around after this bloody heater matrix. James
  11. My sister is very dyslexic and so is the girl I work with. Its definitely not made up. Your MP is a tool.
  12. Hi there moderators. My thread has turned from a wanted to a fitting type thing so could it please be moved to general supra chat? If its not a massive pain in the anus? Maybe clear up the posts that relate to it being a wanted ad too? Cheers James
  13. I think it will drive prices down. More people selling up to make ends meet, less people buying full cars so more cars getting parted out, less people willing to buy the more expensive items so prices drop and drop... As long as I say in my job I dont care lol
  14. You were mistaken, but he is taking the piss. Maybe suggest a small refund or something?
  15. I know theres a few people on here with quick release steering wheel bosses. Do you lose the horn or keep needing to disconnect the spade connectors? Or are there contacts built in to the boss. Obviously the Works Bell and Raid ones will probably have this built in, but what about the more common cheaper ones?
  16. When I had my beard I used my Scherna clippers which were around £40. Also dead good for doing hair cuts and trimming pubes (just writing what everyone else was scared to ). I found scissors to be a waste of time, also using a razor never seemed to work. Probably depends on your facial hair and the style of it.
  17. How much has sound increased by? My superdrager has made things pretty damn loud at the mo
  18. JamesF

    Mugen NSX RR

But that model of NSX is either still being made or was made until very recently
  19. Found the thread and PMd him asking for pics. I actually enquired on the thread too lol.
  20. Paul that car looks better every time I see it
