  1. Are all 4 the same width? I.e. not staggered? What is the tyre size?
  2. To be fair one of us should have got our arses in gear it had been up for a while.
  3. Arse! Id got my money together too
  4. I think you need to be over 25 years old too. Thats what stopped me when I tried...
  5. I think with a higher level spoiler in the same style it would look immense. Not exactly but very similar to a JTC Supra or a Top Secret one. http://www.scorpiocars.net/images/Top%20Secret/2002%20Top%20Secret%20GT300%20Supra_2.jpg http://www.banzaimagazine.com/images/wallpapers/supra_1280.jpg How about a TRD spoiler? It would go with the boxy-ness...

    hi there

Good to hear! Get pics up then ASAP and dont buy a Top Secret diffuser cos I want one
  8. I swore Id never have an auto but just take a test drive in one! I was converted by the experience. For 100% on the limit driving its not ideal, but when does anyone really do that? On a track?... Id totally get an auto. To be honest, apart from slipping the clutch to spin the wheels when you come away from the lights (without power braking and boiling the gearbox oil lol) theres no downside. Plus you dont look like a fanny! Big plus vote for the NA auto's here. Obviously between an NA auto and a manual TT there'll be light years of difference, but between an NA auto and nothing, I wouldnt be put off by the slushbox.
  9. Gorgeous car! Welcome aboard.

    hi everyone

I used to have a mk4 Golf GTI 1.8t. To go up to a Supra TT it was an extra £155 for the remainder of the policy (10 months), to go up to a Supra NA it was another £325. Shame I couldnt afford a TT! Still, gives me something to look forward to ha
  11. Sounds ace! Welcome aboard, get some pics up soon!

Cheers! Had a look in the garage. Loving those arches.
  13. That made me laugh out loud Bad luck to the guy that crashed, but he couldnt handle the car. Maybe if he'd owned it longer than 2 weeks he could. But who knows.

    Large brakes

I had Brembo's on my 406 Coupe. Good brakes. Very good feel to them.
  15. Hiya George. I bought it from Kirk down in Warrington (DrifterWanaB) but before that I dont know who had it :-) Its only done 53,000 if that helps? James
  16. I see why you didnt like it, cos it seems like it sits slightly high. It looks mean as fuck though. I say you get a Top Secret carbon fibre diffuser and enjoy it!
  17. Come to think of it Ive got a black NA you can have for a similar price lol
  18. I thought it looked ace. Hope theres as much diving round as in the game though. John Woo needs to make another film!

  20. I feel your pain! I drove down to High Wycombe the other week to view a car advertised for £2000 less than my golf was valued at on a large Golf forum (and £1000 less than it was advertised for). The guy promised me he'd take my car as a swap and even though he wouldnt MOT it for fear of me not turning up (sounded daft? MOT'd cars sell better?) he said he'd give me £100. The Supra was fine, very nice car and in good condition. However the dealer (operating from home) started to find imaginary faults with my car. Like pushing the gear lever diagonally forwards and left and claiming the gearbox was fucked because it wouldnt go into first. Saying it wouldnt go into second and telling his mate the gearbox was "proper gay" (exact words). At first he was telling me his brother had been looking for this car for ages, then he started saying that he'd struggle to sell it with a fucked gearbox. Then he was saying that people buy cars like this for everyday purposes, and he doesnt deal with enthusiasts, even though he had several modified and lairy looking jap motors. Changing his story constantly. He started saying he'd want money his way and to be fair, after driving 4 hours in the pissing rain to then get bent over, I got back in the golf and drove all the way back home. Ended up spending close to £silly money on food (4 hours there, an hour at his house, 4 hours back) and fuel and being generally very pissed off. Just goes to show theres quite a lot of people with mummy and daddy's cash behind them who buy a website and like to play at being a car dealer. At least I went and bought Kirk's (drifterwanab) Supra, which is absolutely fantastic.
  21. I love that car especially the headlights. But the bonnet thing is something I noticed as son as I saw it when it first surfaced on the UK magazines. Still love it.
  22. Seen you near the College on Monday morning about 8.45-9.00 am. Nice wheels. Dunno if you saw my black one parked at the bottom of the street near the bushes. James
  23. Possibly Henrik Drake but I reckon my vote goes to Alex Webster!!! Or for the non death metal fans probably Vic Wooten. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=mx2vuK5pGTg
  24. I'm in Carlisle centre mate, we'll have to try and get a bit of a meet up sorted
