  1. I'm on my third... 1st - little end bearing 2nd - thrust washers / crank trashed entire block because of clutch... 3rd - shipped everything to SRD with instructions not to give it back until 100% think it total it was there 4 months, worth every day and £ spent
  2. So am I, but it doesn't sound like they are being very supportive and therefore just go for the weak spot
  3. I'd raise the dispute immediately, it will concentrate there efforts to resolve the issue and put them on the back foot if money is at risk....
  4. How did you pay? Can you raise a dispute with the payment provider?
  5. You might be lucky but I doubt its the kind of tool someone will have
  6. Could buy the tool and then sell after wards?
  7. Both must have mot, receiving car must also be taxed. Donor car doesnt need to bectaxed if its vehicle tax has run out in the last 12 months there’s no break between the date the vehicle tax runs out and the start of the SORN (Statutory Off Road Notification)
  8. Doesn't need tax but needs mot from what I remember
  9. I'm a aero tt6 owner and did what you are talking about because of s crash in my aero TT-auto. To be honest unless you have some serious garage facilities or deep pockets I wouldn't even contemplate it.... In summary - great car leave it as is... Or go buy a decent aerotop TT and keep both
  10. Feel for you! I went through the same thing last year and LeeP sorted my car out... Mine was due to the Clutch too... Pics to follow....
  11. I'll be taking my laptop so can sort out anyone who is unable to setup their sat nav's
  12. Can you get some side on pics showing the alloys and some specs? Widths, offset and size please
  13. Thought you where supposed to remove the black spacers if you had a strut brace?
  14. What! How? Even I got tickets this time and I was a complete numpty the first 2 times lol Hopefully someone drops out and you get a ticket
  15. My list is a little bit longer I'll compile it and post, but a couple of items are fit uk rear brakes, roof spoiler, rear carbon diffuser., new alloys, new dash.... That's just the start I'm going on my own Ian, DB is 6 weeks before the due date so she doesn't want to chance going into labour in the euro tunnel. So I'll be putting up a thread for emergency drop outs in case she goes early
  16. So the big question is has anyone started their 'to do before dragonball' list?
